He deserves a rematch and it's clear Lopez is ducking him as Loma has him worked out.
With that said, Loma has not been acting right since that loss

Big Loma fan.. but it's his own fault. He took the fight with no rematch clause and fought scared for 6 rounds.

Loma needed surgery on his shoulder yet still fought Lopez. Of course Teofimo won't accept a rematch despite a big payday but I truly think that a healthy Loma defeats Lopez.

It's my understanding that Loma didn't want the rematch clause. What does that tell you? It tells me that if Loma had won, he wouldn't have given Teo a rematch. This tactic seems to have bitten Loma in the ass. Do I want to see the rematch, of course. Do I think Teo is justified for shutting Loma down? Yes. Given the way Loma spoke of Teo, as if Teo was a complete nobody, the disrespect Loma showed Teo's father before the fight was made and the way Loma is acting after the loss. Can't really blame him for not giving Loma what he wants. Fear is the last thing that is driving Teo's decision not to rematch.

I'd say that fear is preventing Lopez from wanting to give Lomachenko a rematch. If Lopez really felt that disrespected, he'd gladly take another opportunity to beat Lomachenko again. It's a big fight and it's easily made versus a fight against anyone else AND it's the biggest fight in the division.

Lomachenko was hurting him in the second half of the fight. Lopez knows that if Lomachenko starts early, he's done.

The young generation soft as a pillow. All talk, no go. If it was so easy, go get that easy money, prove to the world it wasn't a fluke and start your reign as King..

Not wanting the immediate rematch with the dominant champion is some soft ass bull****. Take your belts and runaway

    They do, it's mental.

They actually think Lopez is ducking Loma even though he's just beaten him.

Lopez is in the driving seat now, he's the champ, why should he give an immediate rematch to a guy who can't accept that he lost fairly and has attempted to discredit and devalue Lopez's win ?? If Lomachenko accepted the loss like a man and demanded the rematch in the right way maybe he'd have it instead of acting like a disrespectful, petulant and completely deluded brat.

I'd love to see a rematch but if it happens I'd say be careful what you wish for Loma cause you might just get it. One more loss and Orlando Salido's victim is finished.

Who was hurt at the end of the fight? That 12th showed that Teo had heart and can dig deep if need be. Next you're gonna be saying Fury is scared to fight Wilder a 3rd time LOL. No my friend, it's spite not fear that is dictating Teo's decision.

The outcome will be the same and he'll claim the other shoulder was hurt.

I'm not saying Loma doesn't deserve a rematch. Turn around is fair play. The champ gave you a shot at the belts, it's common courtesy to give the ex-champ a shot to get them back. Courtesy is the key word. Has Loma ever shown Teofemo any common courtesy or respect for being a champion in the same division? No. Then Loma claims the judges were bribed? Loma's problem is he lacks humility. Not uncommon in top fighters. I feel if Loma came out after the fight and claimed the young man had a good game plan and executed it well. He pulled it off. Congrats! Then, in a humbled demeanor, asked for a rematch, he probably would have gotten it.
