Andre Ward says he’d rather come back to fight Joshua than Canelo.

Say what you will but

1. Isn't nobody even offering Ward such a fight, he never drew that well!!

2.He still gets pummelled at this weight so he isn't even thinking about it, just staying relevant

 

I mean, it is going to be a moot point, because if Joshua is that vulnerable, Fury will get him.

But I think Ward might be killed if he took on Joshua. Just my opinion.

I think he has very close relationship with his trainer Hunter who put him this seed in his head, who told it after 2nd Kovalev fight.

Lets be honest he had 2 very hard fights with Kovalev imagine what super heavyweight would do to him.


If Ward ever did make Hw debut best he could achieve is Adamek level at that weight and that would be hard too

 

Andy Ruiz is a slightly inflated version of Andre Ward, he did fine walking through Anthony Joshua.

Anthony Joshua will even look worse versus confident Tall heavyweights who don't assign any value to his bodybuilding modeling side-gig, Fury being the most difficult matchup for him.

Andre Ward has a special plan, so we will see...he is planning to take a Heavyweight fight...he is probably staying in shape and getting ready

 

But Andre Ward is picking the easier Super heavyweight, he was stopped by Andy Ruiz...let that sink in...Andre Ward has a plan and he is smarter than all of us. With an Undefeated run in his adult life to show for it...so we can only sit and learn

I get what u try to say but Andy really is Hw and chris Byrd fought at Hw his entire career almoust and got accustomed to punches same with adamek.

Aj is not John Ruiz hw that by your standarts is actually smw.

To me it looked like Ward was finished after Kova fights he did not look spectacular at LHW at all. And it was not because he had to cut weight as he had just moved up.

Ward had reached his potential and retired while on top i could not see him defend title multiple times aginst bivol, batterbiev and others. He was done LHW was his last run.

 

Beterbeiv and Bivol are more dangerous than Anthony Joshua. Andre Ward knows it that is why he is taking the big-low hanging fruit...

Its not a coincidence that all those Middleweights end up moving to Heavyweight when they no longer can win fights in the high-velocity divisions, Chris Byrd will never be a Champion at Middle Weight or SMW, his average reflexes would have been too slow for middle weight, he took his average speed to Heavyweight and became a Heavyweight world champion.

The reality is that Heavyweights are Slower making it easy for smaller fighters to retire at Heavyweight when they are no longer at peak...James Toney had an easier time as an old man at Heavyweight than in the lower divisions...Bigger targets, so less missed shots, slower punches that are easier to see and avoid, biggest problem is reach...Browsing thru the Heavyweights Andre Ward picked the easy one

Good to know Ward is as delusional as ever. He wants no part of Canelo or Beterbiev so he mentions a guy we all know he will never fight. Ward has no business at HW, even on his best day. He’s not even a cruiser weight. I’d have more respect for this guy if he just said he’s retired and not interested in getting punched in the face for a living. Calling out a giant guy is just ego and empty comments. Joshua would put him in the ground and not because Ward isn’t good. He’s just too big and strong. This is why they have weight classes.
