Two favourites of mine as it happens, Sibbo and Chris Pyatt. I was tempted to put Dave Boy Green on my list, childhood hero and 110 percenter.

In that case, he's definitely a Scouser. With all respect, and not meaning to be flippant, I'd still pick him to kick my arse. I'm not going to risk upsetting him.

Leicester's got a good tradition for sportsmen. Snooker players, Lineker, Pyatt and Sibbo. Its football club. Rugby. Cricket. Punches well above its weight across the sporting spectrum in the UK.

Can almost forgive the place for producing Shaun Cummings.

Cummins was a nasty piece, although his death was rather gruesome !
As you say, we don’t do too bad !

Hey man! I knew from the first look that this would be the best list this thread would get. People are just going 2 write down a lot of generic stuff like Ali, Tyson, SRL, etc., not that that's bad. I was refreshed w/ the extensive originality in your list. Monroe, Watts, Chandler, Briscoe, Hart, Everett, Montgomery, Harris, Hayward. What entertaining yet underrated fighters. I personally wouldn't include most of them in my top 15. But it's still pretty cool man. I do have 2 ask though. What are your reasons 4 choosing the ones I mentioned? Esp. ones like Monroe, Watts, Everett, Harris, and Hayward, who we do not have a lot of film of?

Philly born and bred bro it’s pretty simple. They are the only fighters I am really a fan of and cheer for.

Willie the worm is my absolute favorite and childhood hero

That's cool but strange. I mean, I love Philly fighters, but not exclusively. Wow. Can't Believe the Worm is your favorite.

    Hey, u forgot Harold Johnson!

I didn’t forget anyone I was limited to 15 he was considered for 12-15 + I am sure it would change if asked next month.

not sure why it is strange? I love the NFL but cheer for the Eagles...I like a good game but only care if my team/city wins? This Sunday I can enjoy 2 good games (maybe?) but no biggie to me who wins.

same with the NBA...76ers play in about 27 minutes against the Pistons. I might check out another game but only care about the Sixers game.

I love boxing...love a great fight...and get to appreciate highly skilled fighters...but only cheer or care (and not so much now as I did when I was a teen) if one of my guys are fighting..

I have some non Philly favorites
Azumah Nelson (maybe my favorite all time guy to watch)
    Tony Lopez
    Yoko Gushiken
    Gaspar Ortega
    Jeff Fenech
    Samart Payakaroon
    Chris Eubank
    Ricky Hatton
    Mike McCallum
    Vicente Saldivar
    Alexis Arguello
    Jung Koo Chang
    Boza Edwards
    Rocky Lockridge
    JCC

would be a fair list of my favorites to watch
