Simple poll, time will tell what the true answer is.

I say Yes. You never duck the rematch if you think you're the better fighter. Lopez pulls a duck job for the rest of his career and hangs on to his "victory" for as long as he can live.

Very disappointing if the rematch doesn't happen. Hope he doesn't pull a Tyson Fury. Dude really never gave Vlad a rematch. Retired 3 years to duck. SMH

For me to talk about ducking a rematch I'm gonna have to see more top contenders square off even once.

Both of them have easily half a dozen great matchups that have never been seem before (including 130 for Loma and 140 for Lopez). Make a few of those first and then talk rematch.

I don’t think fury retired 3 years to duck Wlad. More of a drug, alcohol, and food binge. I’m not a fan but Fury seems like the type to fight anyone

Fury had bigger fish to fry and almost lost his life with the dark depression he went into. I’m cool with Teo skipping the rematch if he fights a big name or up and coming fighter like Haney or Garcia. If he fights a bum, it will be disappointing. He’s growing out of LW and I suspect he will move to 140 soon. Loma would be a good fight but if he refuses, it’s time to move on. I’m hoping Loma moves to 130, where he is better suited because of his size. I hate when fighters move up higher than their size allows. Mikey Garcia has no business at 147. He needs to at least move to 140 and fight the top guys. The money is too tempting for these guys. I don’t blame them but there are too many examples of failed attempts. Manny did it but he’s a generational talent.

i do rate loma as the best in the game but he lost. and has nobody else to blame but himself and his team.
this would be a duck only if loma becomes mando and lopez avoid the scrap at all costs.. until then, NO ducking.

He'll wait a few years for Loma to slow down and then call him out. You heard it here first.

Don't forget mental issues. Fury's fanboys ensured all bases were covered when it came to why Fury ducked the Vlad rematch. When Mayweather retired, it was because he was scared. Fury does it and it's because he had mental issues, drug addiction and couldn't stop eating. LOL Sounds about right.

No ducking here, Lopez already fought him once and won. I'm sure he's confident that he would beat him again.

He just fought the guy. How do you get he'll duck him forever from that.

I think he will strategically avoid a rematch for as long as he can. At the end of the day, he's still 1-0 versus Loma though.........I think his handlers realize all the stars lined up in that first match and they question if they could duplicate it against more focused Loma that now has him studied..............

Maybe if Loma wasn't Downloading information for 7 rounds he would have won. Lopez was lucky loma had a bad gameplan. Robbery !!!!!!
He's going to destroy him in the rematch.

    Lopez WILL loose the rematch
    He has NO chance.

:risas3: man if you people dont give Lopez his credit and just admit he beat Lomachenko fair and square.

Maybe Loma destroys and Schools him in the rematch like everybody thought he would in the first fight (provided it happens) but maybe Loma gets checked and clipped for his agression.

I honestly do think Loma would win but he should have had a rematch clause in the contract. His fault
