Let's be real, Tyson Fury beats Joshua easily

I don't think Joshua has a prayer against the superior one Tyson Fury.

However we'll give him that better resume argument. Cause he has a better top 10 list of wins, and heavyweights are usually in their peak in their late 30s.

Skills wise Fury shouldn't lose a round to AJ. But what I think will be the main difference is ring IQ, he's just the far more clever fighter in there.

I think it could end up being quite a dull fight. There’s so much on the line I can’t see it being anything like Wilder 2 or Ruiz 1.

I don’t think it’ll be like Fury Klitschko but it could be pretty tactical and a war of attrition for a while.

I'm a fan of both fighters. But I think people are going to be surprised at what AJ does vs Fury. I dont see that much of a talent gap between the two fighters.

AJ is certainly better than Wilder..some power, but admittedly not Wilder type power. However, He's certainly more skilled and has better ring IQ than Wilder. Wilder gave Fury a tough fight during their draw.

Also, we will need a few more fights fo tell, but I think AJ is going to be a smarter, more calculating fighter since the loss to Ruiz.

 

The Heavyweight Division can easily humble anyone with recent examples of The Humbled One being humiliated in New York by a little fatty with man boobs, Pudding Whyte being sparked out by old man Pedvetkin and Daniel Dubois being stopped by a jab machine.

The division is full of puddings but it only takes one bingo punch and the pudding can feast on another few bags of PPV Loot.

 

You could also say that Joshua is "certainly better than Ruiz", "certainly more skilled and has better ring IQ than Ruiz" etc. Look what happened. He needed Ruiz to spend more time in his new Rolls Royce, Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini than in the gym, and to gain a stone, when he was already morbidly obese, to win by bike over 12 rounds.

I love how Joshua fanboys are now dismissing Wilder because Tyson Fury beat him. Joshua would be absolutely bricking it against Wilder, because if he gets hit, it's game over.

 

I would have given the Joshua before beating Wlad a good chance. But I don't see this ultra cautious one doing much to Fury. I predict a 12 round decision for Fury, but maybe a bit closer than when he outboxed Klitschsko. Joshua would need to show something he hasn't shown before. But I don't think he's as explosive as he was a couple of years ago, when he was destroying people left and right.

 

I don’t see this being an easy nights work for Fury at all far from it !

 

Agree with everything apart from Big Dosser Femi having a better Resume..... He doesn't. Fury's Resume better.

 

Apart from AJ being stylistically a bad match for Fury. I think the qulity of opposition the last several years will show.

You cant go from fighting the low quality of opponents Seferi, Pianetta, Wilder, Schwarz and Wallin to stepping up to fight a guy who has been figting a muc higher level in the likes Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz and Pulev in the same period.

 

Ruiz looked like he was on a period in the return fight with The Humbled One.

 

They say that because fury got put down by a light punching cruiserweight. Joshua isnt Wilder but he posseses good power. More than enough to put fury on the canvas. And i highly doubt a jab from fury would hurt Aj. He couldn't even knock wilder out properly while putting his full body weight into his punches
