I have made the same criticism of 20+ year old fighters as well. Feel free to look up my posts. I slammed the annoying heavyweights for taking forever to unify, same as I did Canelo, the welterweights, etc.

If he's too old to be more than a part time boxer then he should give up the belt. What's wrong with me saying that? It's because of people like you defending this nonsense that we don't get the best fights made or undisputed.

I literally went ham for multiple pages DEFENDING Pacuiao over Crawford not that long ago and criticized Crawford's opponent selection:

You lack reading comprehension, or you didn't bother reading everything. I said I had no problem with him fighting Ryan. I said Manny has earned the right to be more careful in his opponent selection and if a big money fight is offered, he not only deserves it he should take it.

I'm just tired of him teasing/name dropping and holding the WBA belt hostage. That's it. He's holding up the division.

 

1-COVID was not a thing when he said he wanted to fight the winner of Mikey vs Spence. He was hoping Mikey would win because that would be an easy fight and name dropped to stay relevant. The fact this has happened not once but twice tells me no, he absolutely does not want to fight Spence.

2-Really? You're "certain" he'd fight Crawford even though Roach was dead set against it and said it was a stylistic nightmare...?

3-Cotto was at a catchweight so you're actually the dumb one for bringing this up. I mentioned Margarito very early on in my post but apparently some of you can't read. I mentioned Mayweather and I also mentioned how he was moving up in weight and not a true bonafide welterweight. Mosley was a thousand years old and gunshy. I gave him credit for beating Thurman. You skimmed through my post and then got triggered without even paying attention.

 

You said "obviously" and yet you provided no evidence. I don't think you get how proof works. He didn't fight anyone the rest of 2019 or even 2020 for that matter so reality doesn't align with your claim.

I don't remember ever writing that Pacuiao was a natural welterweight or that Garcia would be an easy fight.

My only issue is that he is holding the WBA belt hostage by picking a guy 2 weight classes below to fight. It doesn't matter what Pacuiao weighed when he was Garcia's age. RIGHT NOW he is a champion at 147 and should be fighting the best guys at 147. If he doesn't want to do that he should vacate. It's that simple. I will have no beef with Pac if he does that and then cashes out with a big payday, he deserves it. Just don't hold up the rest of 147.

 

Hey numbskull, if you actually bothered to read my post, you would know I said I would have no problem with him not fighting Spence or Crawford so long as he gives up the WBA belt so that we could get closer to undisputed. There is literally no point in him having that belt if he isn't fighting anyone in that division.
