Random thread that's not worth much but I just got done watching Raul Perez - Genaro Hernandez where the bout was done within 30 seconds of the 1st round due to a nasty clash that left Perez near tears (probably more due to frustration than anything else but still).
    Buttin heads like rival rhino.

Watt vs O'Grady was terrible. Watt, behind on points just lowered his head and charged like a billy goat and smashed into O'Grady's forehead and split it wide open. Home cooking, no butt called, when O'Grady couldn't continue he lost by TKO. One of the most unjust endings I have ever seen. Watt should have been ashamed on himself celebrating this win

Marcos Villasana vs Acevedes. Villasana got cut and it ended the fight in the first round. That was supposed to be fight of the night on a stacked card.
I believe that it was also the last time I set foot in the Olympic Auditorium.

Holyfield vs Rahman was infuriating to watch. The HBO crew ignored the blatant butting from Holyfield until they couldn’t avoid mention of it anymore.

The butt at the end of Chavez vs Randall II ruined the fight for me. It wasn’t even that bad of a cut from what I remember, but Chavez didn’t want to continue. Maybe he knew he was just barely up on the cards. Who knows. The end of Chavez vs Randall II was one of the most frustrating things I’ve seen in boxing which is really unfortunate because up to that point, the fight was amazing. Even better than the first one.

The funny thing about Chavez v Randall II was that the doctor gave the OK to continue the fight. It was Chavez who said he wasn't going to continue. All the officials just said, OK, and it went to scorecards. If the doctor said he was good to go on and the fighter says no, it is a retirement. Going to the scorecards was a BS call. It was amazing the kind of political power that was being exercised at that time between King and Sulaiman.

I think 'worse clash of heads' oversells it a bit. They just came together as Genaro slipped a punch. It was a bump of heads rather than a butt.

Bigger butts on the ring card girls. What was that about? I honestly didn't know we still did that in 93. Then again, I thought we'd got shot of the poodle 80s hair by then as well. Memory not serving me well.

Wasn't saying it was the worst clash of heads it just gave me an idea for the thread. Also I've never seen a bout stopped so early due to a butt before.
