What becomes more and more apparent everyday is the amount of armchair boxing experts on here who have never walked into a gym let alone have ever been punched by a trained fighter in their life.
To be fair Wladimir has always got up from knockdown think all his losses were TKO's. AJ can bang but he's overrated on the whole.
Agree overall, but Ruiz went down only once, not several times against AJ. Still and accomplishment considering Ruiz has an excellent chin. I don't think AJ is overrated puncher at all, he certainly doesn't hit as hard as prime Wlad but very few do.
True, but he still shat himself whenever Pulev tried to let his hands go. It's like he'd hotwired himself to immediate clinch whenever he saw Pulev's shoulders twitch.
Joshua most definitely has 'notable' power. He had Klitschko down thrice, - the first time Wladimir had touched the canvas in over ten years - Whyte & Ruiz Jr down for the first time in their careers, and stopped Povetkin for the first (and only, 3 years on) time in his career. Sure, he doesn't have that devastating one-punch knockout power, but what he does best is break down his opponent with solid shot selection before finishing the show in dramatic fashion.
Thank you Kirk. The reasoning some come up with to try and make a point just gets so out of hand. Pac stopped Cotto when Shane could not, therefore Pac hits harder. But Shane stopped Margarito when Pac could not, therefore Shane hits harder. And since Pernell scored a KD on Oscar while Shane could not, Sweet Pea hits harder than Shane now.

The best fighter Wilder has actually laid out cold is Artur Szpilka, an EXTREMELY chinny cruiserweight, after ten rounds and that says a lot, how can we talk about overrated power and keep pushing the narrative that Wilder is this monster hitter? Breazeale got back up before ten, Ortiz got back up before ten, Fury got back up before ten and he was in a terrible state in that fight. Jesus even David Price managed to knock Auldley out cold in the first round, Wilder swarmed him and scared him, Audley was stopped standing
Nail on the head, his opposition has been utterly woeful, if he had even managed to poleaxe some durable journeymen then that would be something but he fought fat chinny club fighters on the way up and even then struggled with them
Don't forget Wilder landed about 100 flush punches on Johann Duhaupas and couldn't drop him, Povetkin knocked him out cold with one punch and Tony Yoka just stopped him in a round
Szpilka wasn't a cruiserweight against wilder he was over 230 lb thats within the boundaries of superheavyweight
I dont support abc logic to the fullest i just made this thread to see the general consensus of the forum and it seems pretty divided. Anthony Joshua obviously has great power. Not like Wilder or Klitschko but clearly heavy handed and he throws tight crisp combos unlike those two which in my opinion makes him more dangerous.
