Larry Holmes: as Ali himself said, Holmes was a master boxer, with an extremely high ring IQ, who had good mobility for a big man and possessed a great left jab. His jabs were like a mix of Ali's (speed, movements) and Liston's (power) combine. He used his height and reach extremely well and although not a huge knockout puncher, he possessed a strong straight rights, right cross and uppercut. He also had a good chin and a huge heart. Larry was one of the best technicians in heavyweight history and he was solid defensively and had outstanding footwork.
Tony Tucker also used the ali style. he was a tall, long, outboxer with power, and bfore drugs and the 2 years layoff took it away, used his jab to establish distance, and fought from the outside.
he was quite successful, have won the IBF heavyweight title, beat buster douglas, jimmy young, orlin norris and oliver mccall, went the distance with a heyday mike tyson and also lennox lewis. George Foreman, larry holmes and michael spinks ducked him too.

I have never heard of Tony Tucker before. BUT THIS GUY FOUGHT MIKE TYSON! This man was nice with this style. I love looking at heavyweights who use the Ali style because I am tall and lengthy too. Thanks for helping me out, I'll check em out. If anybody has anymore suggestions on boxers who use Sugar Ray or Ali's style. LET ME KNOW, PLEASE!

Anthony Hemrick, Sugar Ray Seales, Mark Breland, and Jemal Hinton are some great examples of both Sugar Ray and Muhammad Ali.

James "quick" Tillis....not a successful heavyweight but he also used the ali style, as he was trained by the great Angelo dundee. And he (when he gave a crap) was a very good boxer fundamentally.
He became the first man to go the distance with Mike Tyson. While Tyson was not in his prime and still learning at that time, Tillis with his 80 inch reach managed to stay outside and boxed Tyson, and only narrowly lost. (6-4).
He also beat Earnie Shavers. But, most of the time, he showed up out of shape, which is why he had so many losses to the likes of witherspoon, morrison ,biggs, holyfield, frazier, bruno ex... a wasted potential.

Jeez dude, James Tillis was actually becoming a fatty during later in his career. Anybody else, this post made me kind of sad actually XD. I'll still check him out though, it's nice hearing some boxers I don't know instead of the same ones.
