    Whyte 62% KO
    Price 62% KO
    Takam 62% KO

    Amongst others.

    Not as often as Shavers.

    Klitschko never stopped Povetkin

Sure, after Povetkin shook AJ up while he himself was 40 years old. If AJ stopped Povetkin, who was Shavers getting stopped by at the end of his career? Oh right, professional loser Brian Yates

Povetkin slips and defends a heck of a lot better than Shavers.

Shavers has a punchers chance against anyone but I would never bet on just a punchers chance. Povetkin has been a solid top guy for over a decade. Shavers never could say that and was getting put to sleep by the top guys of his day.

Shavers couldn't beat George freaking Chaplin

I wonder if David Price could beat Bob Stallings?

IDK, Bob Stallings is a big name in boxing.

Sure, he was 21-24 when he fought Shavers, but then again, he did beat Shavers.

Shavers beat fighters of the calibre of Joe Bugner,Jimmy Young,Jimmy Ellis and Ken Norton who are leagues above the likes of Whyte,Price and Takim and if you cant see that i give up because you are a lost cause

Could Walter Santemore beat Shavers though?

    What's your feeling on this?

We should evaluate this matchup. Tell me about how Shavers' nuclear power decimates this unheralded 17-10 fighter.

I think Povetkin knocks shavers out honestly. Shavers had the punchers curse of not the best chin himself. And while he had power, plenty of guys got up from his shots too, and povetkin is much quicker and a more skilled boxer. I think it would go similarly to when shavers fought other great boxers like Ali and Holmes and he would drop sasha once or twice (keep in mind sash has only been stopped on his feet he's never been out cold) then gas and/or take too much punishment himself and go down.

Like I know he was way past prime, but shavers got knocked out by tex cobb for crissake. If past prime povetkin that fought whyte fought tex cobb he's not getting knocked out. He might even win that fight easily on points (he want knocking cobb out lol)

Yes, Shavers had a great career, beating greats like Holmes, Ali and Jerry Quarry.

Oh ... no, wait, he didn't.

He managed to catch Norton on a bad day and that was about his peak.

I've seen him described as a second rate boxer with a first rate punch, and that IMHO just about describes him. Povetkin is as close to a complete offensive fighter as I've seen, and both his losses are questionable. Klitschko outrageously exploited his size and clinch against him, and AJ beat a much-weathered and long in the tooth version of him. Two losses, in a career of fighting hard men. Shavers: 14 losses, some against nobodies. It's clear who is better.

You're acting like Vlad and aj arent giants. Sasha has never lost to a guy under 6' 6". Povetkin is the bigger man in this matchup. Bigger better boxer better chin better conditioning vs guy with crazy power. Feel like I've seen this before.
