I mean, these are the kind of statistically one-sided prolonged stitchworkings that in fact accumulate to cause most of the brain damage in the sport, far more than any highlight reel single blow Tysonesque kayo.

Truax looks like he's ready for a beer and a burger.

Plant is good in this type of matchup, but I question him against a top 5 opponent

This fight isn't doing anything for my mental alertness, either. (LOL)

God these flurries by Plant in the last minute are so cringe. Literally doing the Mickey Rourke neko punch.

Exactly. Plant and Saunders can do this all day against these guys. But, at some point, so what?

Fights like this won't help sell a bout against Canelo. And Alvarez can manhandle these types of guys until he's 40.

Too bad they couldn't fill four and a half hours of network television time better than this. There is nothing going on in the sports world tonight. I like boxing and I was half watching. They won no new fans. What a HUGE opportunity wasted.

More heavyweights, please. That Coffie fight was the best part of the night.

That's why guys like Saunders are defending their titles on the undercards of YouTubers. At least the YouTubers swing for the fences and try to put on an exciting fight. I give them credit for that. Even when these guys are fighting 40 year old overmatched guys who can't punch, they jab and jab and jab and draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag these fights out until the "frake crowd noise guy" doses off.

That might be the case (however his defense is better than average), but people also said that about Floyd Mayweather. In order to beat Canelo, you have to be slick, and elusive, and outwork him on the backfoot, the only guy that can beat him coming forward is GGG. But sadly, Saunders, Plant and GGG even if they did shut Canelo out, would still take an L, because it is what it is. You have to KO Canelo to win.
