    Myeah, I don’t know. Plant obviously outclassed Truax. So much so that there was no reason, other than a lack of concsussive power, that he shouldn’t have stopped him.

    I know Truax is tough, but I can’t help but feel just a bit underwhelmed, despite Plant dominating the fight from bell to bell.

    And for the record, I don't think Plant will beat Canelo. The only 2 I give a chance to at 168 is Saunders and Benavidez.

    The Mayweather fight was eight years ago. These types of fighters can't do anything with Canelo now. He's not 22 anymore. He's a grown man. And these peck and poke guys stand no chance anymore.

    Yeah okay... the Jacobs and Kovalev matches proved that not to be the case. Kovalev was brought in to be an easy KO victim, and while he was, he boxed Canelo's ears up to a round before getting stopped, and Jacobs got stronger as their match progressed and arguably swept the last 4 or 5 rounds. Hell Rosado performed better against Jacobs than Canelo did. Slicksters are still a problem for the Ginger One.

    Plant looks great in spots but damn he fights in spots

    Truax was outclassed and took way too long to apply pressure but he scored some really nice right hands in the back half I gotta give him credit for that

    I like plant and picked him in kirks by early ko and scored this fight in his favor but I dont think he has much for canelo. I like his chances vs Andrade, Jacob's and Saunders but I think canelo is a cut above
