Agreed....all my years in the sport I can tell you there is a type and Plant is a type....he is skilled and slick but limited......he is mentally locked into that style but the worse part is he is emotionally attached to his image in the ring....he would rather look goid abd lose than bad and win.....his team has matched his style well.. If I am Canelos people I am salivating at Canelos combos, defense and footwork against him

There is no excuse for not getting Truax out of there; none. Too slow, too easy to hit, and you clearly had the means to hurt him.

In the last decadd he was fighting bigger stronger fighters as well...but he could turn up the heat at will...this fight said as .uch about Plants limitations as it did about Truax being shot

Sure, but he still couldn't get the KO if he tried. Because he did try, a few times.

There is a reason his team brought in Truax, they were hopping for a dominate fight with a KO.

Truax is slow as they come and easy to hit. Plant sure as hell didn't impress tonight. It was a long boring fight where he clearly out class Truax but couldn't or wouldn't step on the gas to finish Truax.

Again he was a lightweight fighting naturally bigger stronger fighters......Plant is in his prime and a big 168

Featherweight Guerrero was smaller than Floyd, so were Pacquiao, Cotto and JMM. Berto was the same size as Floyd, but mediocre and faded.

Floyd was too cautious, too safety-minded to try to atop them, so he just ran out the clock for dull decision wins.

Ya man. There seemed to be no killer instinct in there tonight. Late in the fight, he had a dominated, beaten opponent pinned on the ropes, and he chose to shoeshine rather than throw leveraged shots. He never really put his foot on the gas tonight. Or at least he didn’t appear to.

Slick fighters fight slick regardless of how big they are for their weight class. That's just Plant's temperament. Regardless, I never said he'd beat Canelo, just give him problems for a few rounds. Saunders on the other hand, I do think will beat Canelo and have for years.

Sure he did that but Cotto was bigger and everyone one of this fighters were better than Truax ever dreamed of being
