It wouldn't be as bad as Foreman. Foreman was ALL wrong for fraizer. But imo Bowes infighting, MUCH larger size and power would be bad news for fraizer and those uppercuts would seal the deal.

Probably won't be all *that* unpopular for those of us who are under 50.

Foreman pushed Frazier repeatedly causing Joe to reset during which time Foreman attacked. Bowe never pushed he let opponents get inside him and one fighter that bent at the waste gave him a ton of problems, Golota. However Golota also had beutiful jab and was larger than Frazier. I could see Bowe winning as he was larger and could absorb tremendous punishment. But I think its a difficult night's work.

Thats what im saying. Foremans forward movement, pushing fraizer away and constantly timing fraziers head movement is why he was all wrong for him. Worst possible match up for Fraizer. But Bowe was the better inside fighter. He also loved fighting going forwards and Bowe also has a significant size advantage over Fraizer. Bowe will be happy to swap hands instead of trying to box on the backpedel. I think he'd take him out in 6 rounds

I don't think that's a particularly unpopular opinion. Bowe is a nightmare for a lot of shorter smaller HWs, especially come forward types. His length, decent jab (when he used it), ferocious combination uppercuts and ability to absorb punishment would all make Frazier's night a very difficult one. Depends on how smartly Bowe fought though. He comes into the ring undertrained, or looking to get into a tearup and he gives Joe a ton of opportunities, same as he gave Holyfield. A well-trained, sharp as he can be Bowe fighting as best he can to maximise his attributes (note the qualifiers here) beats Joe in a back and forth brawl.

Whatever the outcome though, I think we're all agreed it'd be a tremendous fight.

Frazier would be competitive. Bowe was a sucker for a left hook. Go to YouTube and watch the Dokes fight. For a one round fight against a washed up fighter it is laughable the number Of clean hooks Bowe takes. And Dokes didn’t have the power anywhere near a prime Frazier. It was quick stoppage too imo. Although Dokes didn’t have his legs he was still fighting.

I disagree. Bowe is a very good in fighter which we all know but that was Joe's game. He was the master at it. Combine it with his work rate and conditioning you got Bowe hanging on by the end. Frazier clean UD

I cringe thinking of the left hooks Bowe would take with his lack of defense.

I don't think so ... I think Bowes power is overrated a bit ... I think Frazier would beat Bowe ... Frazier becoming underrated on here lately

Bowe was not hard to hit and didn't really have a good defense. I think that offsets his infighting skills. ... Don't think he beats Frazier

Bowe took a lot of punishment in his career that's why he was shot before 30 ... Constant punishment is worse than being KOed early it would seem

I can't see Bowe beating Frazier. He's too comfortable standing in the pocket and rumbling, and that's bad against Frazier. Don't think a lot of parallels can be drawn between Bowe and Foreman; completely different approaches, and Foreman way more durable.

    Frazier stops him.

Foreman didn't get hit as much as Bowe

He would push and knock opponents into range ... Bowe would straight up trade
