This forum has gone downhill big time. Been frequenting this site for years. Eventually moved away from the general forum due to the trolls. Now it's the same here. I genuinely feel that with the rise of abuse online we are heading towards more stringent verification on accounts, social media etc. While it's crazy in some aspects at least it will hopefully put an end to the faceless trolls
Weird isnt it. I dont get why grown men have to align themselves with one fighter and abuse the other. Every discussion will inevitably descend into "the gypsy king" "peoples champion" "puddings" "mugths" etc. Its pathetic. Just enjoy the boxing you sad, sad *******s
I thought it was a joke when I read the opening post. Once AJ fights fury wilder and usyk he has fought everyone of his era who are noteworthy. If AJ wins or loses these fights is debatable but he has done great things for British boxing. Don't think that this the worst era of heavyweights. The klitschkos had things pretty much there own way for 10 years. Going back to other eras the mafia would pick who won fights. Every era of boxing are looked at once they have hung the gloves up. Just enjoy the fights when they do get made. Fury v Joshua should be next and looks like it will happen. This is unbelievable for an island like ours having 2 heavyweights fighting to see who is the best.
The man know by the ladies as Stumpy (little brain) seething with rage again that his beloved Man Utd and Celtic failed to win yesterday. Watch the mighty reds demolish West Ham later and chill out FFS.
You make some good points but I disagree about Ruiz 2. That was a great performance and the way he should have boxed in the first fight rather than trade short hooks with a little fat fella. He got the Martin ‘fight’ after winning the vacant British wtf is that about!? I’m not a Fury ‘nut hugger’ but I have always said he’d batter Joshua a long time before Ruiz beat Joshua and Fury beat Wilder. I’ve just never liked the Joshua hype probably because of the way he won the Olympics. Then the over the top ness of it. Grown men with hard ons, type of fellas who’d pay him to bang their bird and watch in the wardrobe. I’m not going to lie I wanted him to lose every fight of his. The first one I never watched he lost. I was gutted I missed it but all the hype evaporated. The fickle people all jumped ship to the former ‘fat, sexist druggy’ Fury, so my animosity towards AJ is very cool now. I’m not too bothered by him. Let’s face it he was massively over hyped, but that’s because like him or hate him Hearn is good at his job. He is massively overrated but he’s in a bad division and he has beat what’s been put in front of him so fair play. He got Wlad at the right time. If he hadn’t been out 18 months I’m sure most would agree he’d have beaten Joshua. Joshua was good against Pulev who is getting on but still a good level and let’s be honest there’s loads of heavyweights who are still good at that age unlike the lighter weights.
??? Im not man utd, celtic, nor do i care what happens to liverpool and rangers you weirdo. Its a boxing forum.. Go out and get some fresh air.
wow! Mr negative! AJ has beaten everyone that’s been put in front of him. Not his fault Charles Martin was the title holder at the time, or that pulev was the mandatory. Avenged his loss against Ruiz. Stopped Povetkin who people say was way past it who has since given Hunter a hard fight and stopped whyte. I can’t comment on the wilder side of things as who knows what really went on when it came down to making a deal. I bet you cried yourself to sleepy time when he stopped klitschko
He could have fought Usyk instead of Pulev though. Im far from an AJ fan but he gets far too much criticism for a unified title holder. We just want to see him in with Fury or even Wilder now. These are still the 2 defining fights of his era.
You cannae dispute the wee man has a point....i wasnae inclined to agree with this kind of thread but he hasnae said anything not factual.
