He don't bring s--- to the table,” which is strange as he seemingly brought more money, a mexican fanbase, and more accolades than sharmba. i dont get it.

I see Sharmba as the No. 3 guy right now." which is quite puzzling since marg had been the #1 guy for a couple years in the ring rankings with sharmba nowhere in the top 10 and yet floyd says sharmba is the #3 guy? i dont get it.

Seems like he refused to fight the better in house guys arum wanted him to fight and even broke his contract to fight unranked sharmba instead for about half the money. Then if you remember after this he fought zab after zab had just lost to unheralded baldomir when marg was still a viable option as the #1 ranked fighter(technically behind upset baldomir) what happened to all that ill fight the #1 guy and if he dont want it ill move on? #1 guy wanted it!

All and all i dont see floyd ever fighting marg(prime marg at least) so i dont know how you could break down a fight between a guy who wants to fight and a guy who doesnt. it seems like a non starter. you need confidence to be a professional boxer and if you dont have it you dont get in the ring(with that opponent)

 

It's not smart to bet against Floyd but I would not have counted Margarito out on this one.

Smaller and less tenacious come-forward-type fighters (Maidana, JLC come to mind) than Margarito gave Floyd problems.
