Who the F has Crawford beat? LOL Tyson Fury is the best fighter on the planet P4P is a load of made up rubbish.
I agree with most what you say in this forum but Canelo's resume has to be taken with a pinch of salt... Everywhere... Trout - decent win at best. Trout in the Canelo fight doesn't seem to understand that he's not getting any decision against a guy by throwing tappy jabs. I had that 8-4 Canelo but 3 or 4 rounds Canelo knicked marginally by landing one or two more solid punches. Either way Trout has shown himself to not actually be that good of fighter and has got barely any decent wins himself. 36 yo Mayweather - there was a reason why they picked Mayweather.. He was 36..cherrypick gone wrong. Lara - talented fighter who clearly beat Canelo. Just ridiculous there's even an argument for Canelo here. 41 yo Mosley - despicable Cotto - quite clearly past his best. He was past his best when he fought mayweather in 2012 let alone in 2015. Amir Khan at 160 - dangerous fight where Canelo could afford to be outboxed for a bit as he had a massive size and power advantage. A fight that shouldn't have been made Old Golovkin - 35/36 guy robbed.. People act like he wasnt visibly slower timing/footwork /reflex than the guy he was in his late 20s. Dumbasses still trying to act like Canelo won.. He didn't win 5 rounds let alone 7 in that rematch. Dehydrated Jacobs - I remember people saying Jacobs is elite. I've believed prior to the Canelo fight that he is most certainly not. Honestly absolute joke, he's a massive weight bully and relies on that. Looked like a LHW cruiser against Golovkin. Of course Canelo takes away his size advantage and wins a close decision. Kovalev - never seen a fight like it. Most obvious sparring session I have ever seen. Kovalev has never fought like that Smith - has always been trash.. struggled against a kickboxer, and beat a slightly past it ****ed shoulder Groves. Smith has a trash resume himself, not only that his upright hands up 99% of the time is made for Canelo. He was also given 3 weeks training camp, and is clear from the prefight build up that it was a **** camp..they even say something about having no sparring partners or good ones I'll have to link it if I find it
In summary... Canelos best names on his resume are old golovkin old mayweather and Lara. That's a pretty shameful resume if you ask me
Canelo. I think he is more dominant at 168 and 175 than he was at 154 and 160. Crawford is getting there, but I need to see him in a big fight or two.
Mayweather was a "cherrypick"? LMFAO now I've heard it all. Clearly beat Canelo? Like GGG "Clearly" won round 6 of the rematch lol. I like how you act like you're the authority on what the consensus is, whilst taking stances that put you in the extreme minority. It's humorous, what would you do without me bringing you back to earth? Fact Check - he was 40, not 41. And if it was so despicable for Canelo to fight Mosley at that time, what about Pacquiao who fought Mosley 1 year earlier? Was that despicable too? True, and that was the biggest fight out there at the time for Canelo. It was at a catchweight of 155, not 160. He didn't force Khan to go all the way up to 160 like GGG did with Brook. Excuses excuses. GGG fans demanded the fight happen, said GGG would destroy Canelo. Didn't happen. Then the crying. "But GGG was so old, waahhhh". You've proven you cannot be taken seriously when scoring GGG bouts. You think GGG won the 6th round in the rematch which no one else on earth thinks. Get a grip. Your hero got squashed by Canelo. Canelo will always be GGG's Daddy your tears will not change that lol. LOL more excuses, "dehydrated" Canelo schooled him and beat Daniel. That was easy work. Canelo was dominating until Jacobs mounted a mini-rally towards the end. Jacobs was schooled. You never seen Kovalev fold up like an accordion before. It did look like a sparring session before that, both fighters were super cautious. Then Kovalev got caught cold, it was a beaut. I'm surprised you're not calling it a "dive", or fixed. You always have an excuse for something. People who make excuses don't get anywhere in life. You need to MAN up and give Canelo credit for easily outboxing a legit 168-lb Champ who had a huge size advantage. You failed to mention his bro - Remember what happened to Beefy. That body shot, owww. Canelo beat both Smith brothers impressively. Both were undefeated, both lost to Canelo and were dominated.
Smith was the weakest champ at the weight. That's how fighters manage and craft their resumes/careers.
Wouldn't that be like saying that Crawford should be fighting better competition at 154 or 160? Canelo was moving up a weightclass to fight GGG at 160. When he fought GGG, no one ever expected he would end up fighting at 168 or 175. The fact that he's fighting and dominating World Champs at 168 let alone 175 is a huge accomplishment. And lets not forget, Plant and Saunders, the other "better" 168-lb World Champs supposedly have clearly been ducking him and making every excuse not to fight him. Plant was asked about a Canelo fight, he literally said he was not ready. Saunders seems to finally fancy a Canelo match this year, but up until recently he was not interested. I hope the Saunders match happens, but Canelo consistently has shown he is willing to fight the best. It's not his fault that Plant was not ready to fight him or Saunders was ducking him.
Mayweather cherrypick? Yes you fool. He was 36 you dildo. They saw it as an opportunity as they do every fight. Yes GGG won clearly. I'm not the one who said he won round 6 CLEARLY. You said Canelo did and your arguments were so poor that you couldn't even convince yourself to counter the last point I made. I have more authority than you because you think punches are clean damaging blows when they hit gloves and elbows. Embarassing. Worst thing is a lot of people probably think like this. Even if Canelo did deserve the win, which he definitely did not, Golovkin was 35/36 ffs. 40 years and 7 months actually lol and yes Pacquiao fighting him at 39 or whatever is equally despicable. You're the only one justifying Khan fighting Canelo.. Minority mate joke aside it was a dangerous size difference. Clearly unfair. Jacobs schooled? Mate you're such a fanboy there really is no point "debating" with you. Aka throw facts and figures at a mannequin basically. And just casually ignoring the quite obvious bull**** weight manipulation tactics. All that can significantly impact the outcome of the fight. Kovalev was clearly a sparring session and a fixed fight.. The fact you think that it ws legit makes me think you are incredibly naive. You've never watched Kovalev before have you? I can outline about a million different things he didn't do which is standard Kovalev. A short camp does not explain his performance. My arguments are very valid against Smith and they still stand. I think we've just got to end it here because youre clearly a Canelo fanboy. You'd probably justify Canelo killing your mum or something. Truly embarassing, void of any criticism even though there is clear bull****
Mayweather was 36, but was in near-prime condition that night. We've seen plenty of fighters maintain their bodies well into their 30s even some into their 40s. You realize Pacquiao was 40 years old (and 7 months!) when he fought Thurman in 2019. Was Thurman "cherrypicking" Pacquiao? After all, Pacquiao was 4 years older than Mayweather was when Canelo fought him. According to you, that should make Thurman calling out a 40 year old Pacquiao the biggest cherrypick ever. But obviously it wasn't since Pacquiao knocked him down and beat him.
