As I say folks, drug money exists. You can just magic it away. It has to go somewhere. It's always gonna be with us, unless we grasp the nettle and start chopping off heads and hands a la Saudi or Singapore. Want a drug free society? Lotta eggs gotta be broken to make that omlette. So far no Indication there's any real appetite for real action....

I have never seen you on here condoning drugs - simply explaining the context behind the drugs war in Dublin which I know is not widely or accurately reported on UK news.

Your posts made sense to me in understanding WTF is going on in Dublin, the corruption, the context behind the weigh-in shooting and the difficulties in bringing these people to justice after a long costly investigation failed.

You are correct that the Governments and Courts really need to declare a real war on drugs - the sentences need to be multiplied by 10 for starters at all levels of dealing.

Every town and city in the UK (I assume the same in Ireland) has many examples of lives ruined, drug related crime out of control and communities who are terrorised by users and dealers.

Absolutely sickening mate with no tunnel, never mind light at the end of it, with the drugs problems multiplying by the year.

 

The FBI eventually got John Gotti types and people who hit the radar at National Intelligence Levels never come off it - every dog has his day and karma will hit eventually in one form or another.

 

The dole ? Think I used it once 15 years ago when I was between jobs, been grafting since im 14 mate and earned over 80k last year and dont feel the need to big up drug pushing scum, ive seen these lads in the area I grew up, bullying filth who wouldnt know what to do if they hadnt a little crew of rats behind them. Cowardly *******s that have no place in the sport.

The sport has been destroyed by these clown in Ireland amatuer and pro. Wtf would send there kids into the sport now after what has gone on last few years.

 

Thank you Jurgen. Democracy is the best system they say and perhaps they're right. But it has one major flaw....it gives us the society we deserve, not the one we want. Yeah, all attempts to nail the Kinahans have bombed spectacularly. Even more worrying , with Operation Shovel, much of the stuff just required the Civil Law threshold for proof (on the balance of probability or put another way 51:49) and they couldn't even manage that. Basically the Kinahans wiped the floor with em. And that was an all out effort, no holds barred prosecution. Kinahans now insisting ( quite legally) that the Spanish return all the confiscated assets!!. Jewellery, cars etc.!!
Anyway lots of new young mobs are already in place doing the business In Ireland. Frankly, getting rid of the Kinahans now would be a hollow victory. That documentary was rubbish really. Useless gutter press hack rehashing old out of date news. Failed old duffer coppers who rode off into the sunset on huge salaries and pensions, having utterly, utterly failed the taxpayers who find them.
But of course ultimately the taxpayers failed themselves, didn't they, cos ...y'know..... democracy etc etc
