If Stiverne suddenly couldn't make it, and it became Bryan vs Lovejoy for a "world" title, I would weep tears of joy. If Oquendo somehow does become involved in this, I might **** myself from happiness.
Arslanbek Makhmudov will be featured in the co-main event in Dallas on March 20. He's being avoided by the heavyweight contenders. Maybe someone like Carlos Takam who is willing to fight anyone will take the fight?
It's official, Bryan vs Stiverne will be for the WBA "world" heavyweight title. Heavyweights indeed - they are overweight, both weighing in at 267. The 6' 2" Stiverne looks like a real couch potato, he appears to have not trained for this fight. This content is protected
Tervel Pulev won by TKO 9 over Merero. Shumenov got stripped of his belt and Ryad Merhy is now the champ. Merhy will now face Dorticos in a mandated bout.
Still find it strange that he was fighting in Tanzania. Is he struggling to find opponents? He doesn't really have a lot of time to waste as he started as a pro so late.
More or less due to the current situation his managment are having a hard time getting a decent opponent. Their hope is to have Pulev fight for a world title next year.
I second this I enjoyed arguing with him about his ridiculous favouritism towards some truly awful fighters. And sometimes I’d intentionally try wind him up. Miss him though
Why people still fight under Don King I'll never know. Sad to hear, hope he can get out of somehow and make some money out of the sport.
How is Don King even still in boxing? How is he even alive? Also what's more shocking if that how is Tyson the only one who has put hands on him for the stuff he's done?
