    How would beating AJ make him P4P #1? He would have to do it in a faster and more impressive fashion than Ruiz did. AJ has been exposed he is a Glass Jawed fighter. You usually don’t make P4P statements beating that type of opponent.

    It seems counterproductive to give the fighter with the most pounds top P4P honors, but he would have to be on the list anyway.

    No. Fury is the best heavyweight fighting today, but career wise, has only beaten two top 100 all time fighters - one was going on 40, and the other, Deontay Wilder, can’t box.
    But if he was able to beat Joshua.. Can he become:
    The Greatest Boxer P4P who ever lived?No way.
    The Greatest active boxer P4P today? Not Only Yes But Hell Yeah.

    I think he should be in the conversation for P4P#1 for sure with a win over AJz, and I would be fine with putting him at the top.

    People often want to remove HWs from the P4P discussion, but in Fury's case he belongs. His style, build with those long arms, and motor translates very well to the smaller weight classes.

    I know but who can remember "P4P" lists from 2010? no one because nobody should care and history does not care.
