What's boxers had the ability to play other sports and excel?

Well known ones I can think of

    Vitali - pro kickboxer
    Marciano - baseball catcher
    Roy Jones - basketball

    Anyone else?

James Toney went to college on a football scholarship. Hated taking orders so chose boxing instead.

    Been loads going way back.
Tom Faulkner was a cricketer, though I've never seen much of any info about his cricket career.
    Tom King was a rower
Tom Sharkey and Peter Maher both wrestled.

He was a stand out in the semi-pro league. Glad he chose boxing instead.

Anthony Mundine was a professional rugby league player before switching to boxing and contending for a world title.

Mark Gastineau was a top class NFL player but a pretty mediocre boxer.

Alonzo Highsmith, Charley Powell were boxers with NFL backgrounds as well.

I keep looking for soccer, you would think they would go together nice.

In any case, they are truly gifted athletes if they can do separate sports... IMO
