I am so pumped for this!!!

...in an alternate universe where it's this time in the year 2017 when this happens, with the undefeated unified middleweight champ challenged by a fellow unblemished beast.

(and yes I realize both of their 2017 blemishes were robberies, but the fact is the official results do dull the luster somewhat of a superfight the likes of which this briefly could have been)

    Meh...not terrible.

What does Andrade have to do to get a good fight?

I thought he was fighting Eubank?!?

Who the **** is liyota royala?

This sounds like typical GGG, and his puppet fan boys will just go on about 'its a mandatory, what do you want him to do'?

I guess I should take a bit of comfort in this. Will all the instability and chaos in the world, at least we can always count on GGG fighting the next can on DAZN

Just because you are too ignorant about boxing to know who he is that doesn't mean he's a can.

Just looked him up on BoxRec ....yup!! He's a can.
GGG should have made a 2021 calendar featuring a different can for every month of the year and all his fans could hang them up on their walls and talk about how tough and underrated each can was, and how only real true die hard boxing fans could really appreciate them, because everyone else DKSAB.

I'll bet it would sell a million copies too

He's a better fighter than Eubank who you are crying about GGG not fighting instead, but you wouldn't know that because you had never even heard of Murata before now. How can anyone who follows the middleweight division not know who Murata is, you dksab...

Definitely not a can. But definitely not a highly anticipated fight.

Over time, there have been a lot of instances where I really question team GGG’s choices.

Whether it’s to move up or not to move up, or choice of opponent, they sometimes leave me wondering. In the scheme of things, this isn’t a bad fight by any stretch.

He can fight whoever he wants at this stage of his career as far as i'm concerned, nothing left to prove. He is 38 years old, he could easily just retire and enjoy his money.

    It's a unification, not a mandatory.

In all likelihood Golovkin loses this one, I'd be very surprised to see him get the W.

Certainly he could. I know he was working on trying to get the Canelo 3 fight.

Again, I don’t think this is that bad a fight by any stretch, or a walkover. But there are a number of better fights out there to be made, which has been the criticism throughout his career, even though he was widely avoided for many of the prime years.

It also should be pointed out that alot of guys are clamoring to fight him now, that probably wouldn’t have been the case prior to 5 or 6 years ago. The last 5 or 6 years, it seems he has been alternating tough fight/easier fight. Not sure without looking it up, but that is my general impression.
