Holyfield too much new age left hook, lead right, jab, parry, footwork, body shot.

He might knock him out of the ring, under the ropes, like he did Qawi, MCdonough, Tyson, Moorer etc. Don't ya think?

You have a lot of faith in the Gentleman Thong, why?

    :zplayita:

Fishing expedition successful! I thought nobody was gonna bite for a minute. :bump

Let's be serious, Holyfield smashes Corbett, just look at the footage. James has zero power and his punching technique is unlikely to give Holyfield nightmares, exactly. He pushes his punches and has hs arms outstretched in some sort of parrying move that appears to work against the midget he's fighting. I doubt Evander would lose any sleep:

While Corbett lost a lot of his important fights, be essentially clowned everybody he ever fought.

He was like a heavyweight version of Jimmy Slattery.

He is a fighter that I often pick against, but I don't expect anybody to have an easy time with him!

I find the idea that he would be out of his depth purely based on Holyfield's size a rather odd one.

I doubt that Holyfield's size would even be his main concern.

What do you think would be Corbett's main concern then?

Did he clown Jackson ?Sharkey2nd fight ? What exactly is his best win?
Is it stopping a near 34 years old ,alcoholic Sullivan who hadnt fought for nearly 5 years?
Or perhaps stopping a 165lbs ,nearly 34years old Mitchell who had fought 9 rds in the previous 2 years?
Do these victories indicate he would beat Bowe,Tyson,Mercer,Thomas,Dokes,Moorer, and hold his own with Lewis.Do they even indicate he should be favourite over Qawi?
Corbett's two best wins,[Sullivan and Mitchell,] wins we know were kosher would these be beyond the reach of Holyfield?
Would Holyfield need 21 rds of running away to bring a, dissipated beyond repair, Sullivan to the point of exhaustion before taking a chance and going for the finish?

About 7 lbs heavier than Slattery in his prime.

To judge Corbett why would you look at the 30 seconds of lower quality footage later in the fight, when Corbett is on his way to being stopped

On another note, Fitz's punches look absolutely sickening.

I imagine that he would have rather fought a bigger man who was a less complete fighter.

Instead of being stopped by a punch to the stomach from a middle weight ?
