Fights that went the distance but should have been stopped or ended in KO

Tyson claims he beat Douglas cause of a long count. Said it never should have gotten to the KO round.

 

I guess I bought that it was long too for a while. Tyson did that performance around the country where he would speak and then do the count in real time and prove his victory. In a way he had a point, but that isn't really how the count works in the ring. Humans have to react to the situation, and each referee handles it differently.

 

The Mcclellan camp still thinks he had a first round KO over Benn.

Vitali v Briggs should have been stopped.

 

Floyd Mayweather vs Zab Judah. While there was no KO, this one shouldn't have gone the distance, but should have ended with a DQ, after uncle Roger stormed into the ring to confront Judah after he low blowed Floyd.

 

His name is Ali.

 

There was some pretty odd carry-on in the Donaire-Inoue fight round 11. Donaire was knocked out for all intents and purposes - the referee's count and his bizarre intervention in stopping Inoue following up his body shot while Donaire was still on his feet and turning his back to buy some extra time were both a bit iffy.

 

Ken Norton-Scott Ledoux.

Ledoux should've been given the stoppage win.

 

If anything he should've been dqed for thumbing Norton's eye.

 

I agree with this. I felt like they robbed Inoue a KO win, but to Donaire's credit he still showed heart and will to keep fighting on even after getting the snot kicked out of him. What a fight.
