AJ will have been out of the ring for 6 months. Fury will have been inactive for 18 months. Surely this has to hurt Fury's chances against AJ?
Fury is 3 miles ahead of these guys at the top of Everest whilst they are at basecamp struggling to breathe. Fury could honestly roll out of bed and beat AJ on any given day. AJ will probably get shell shocked after fighting static midgets like Ruiz & Pulev to having a bigger man in front of him which he has never experienced. Honestly another beating is getting laid down that will have people just denigrate AJ's ability rather than give Fury props for devastating these men. Fury can easily get decent sparring partners who will give him suitable work AJ isn't finding anyone like Fury to spar with...they don't exist. He'll just get some quick young lanky cruiserweights for boxing practice and some big lumps to inside wrestle with. That ain't Fury though...well apart from the big lump bit.
It wont hurt him at all because he's been training with Javon and came of of a dominant win against Wilder but hypothetically speaking if Aj ended up beating Fury then thats going to be the first excuse that'll get tossed around
Fury is in shape now, usually he has to drop about 5 stone in camp which just goes to show how far infont of all the other HWs he is. Camp for AJ will just be sharpening the tools not a fat camp and it will show on the night with a demolition job on the Big Dosser Femi.
No effect at all. Fury is miles ahead of this era its not even fair. That robot is the most overrated fighter I have seen, cannot wait for that demolition job on that protected bodybuilder.
AJ is the most overrated fighter you've seen? how many fighters HAVE you seen? 3? 4? AJ did what Wilders could NOT do in less than half the fights. AJ still has more quality wins than Fury does.
Sure, because no fighter has ever lost a fight because of time spent out of the ring. Good post, well thought out.
Fury fans will definitely go this route for their first wave of excuses. The second will be the ref. The third will be the mob ties that Fury has. The fourth will be his supposed mental illness that only pops up when it is convenient for Nandrolone Fury. I still think Fury will get tripped up by the Wilder arbitration. I do not like Fury or Wilder, but I hope they force that trilogy because I think Fury has already got enough passes on things like fighting Eurobums, nandrolone and faking mental illness.
A layoff can’t really affect someone if they’ve been training hard the whole time. Part of the reason why I think so many layoffs are just excuses
Out of curiosity, how does one identify a faked mental illness with such certainty? It appears as though you are not speculating, and stating a fact. I'd love to know what you see so I can spot the same thing from my perspective in daily life. Could be useful! Thanks.
Maybe a tuneup would be helpful, but I think smart and dedicated veterans may actually find some advantage in them. Fury knows what he has to do to be in shape, there are sparring partners out there who are trying to ape AJ's style, plus all this time is healing whatever nagging injuries he has and avoiding putting more mileage on his body. A tuneup might be useful but if Fury comes in unprepared he has no one to blame but himself.
Well he looked terrible against those three bums he fought after being out for 30 months or however long it was he was out for. His timing was completely off for his two exhibition fights with that Seferi dude and the shot to **** Pianeta and it wasn't much better when he fought that journeyman from Tuscaloosa either.
