Does Frank stop Leon early like Gerrie Coetzee did ? Or does Spinks ride out the storm and stop the almost certain to tire Bruno later on ?
I think Frank stops him, maybe not as early as Coetzee did but at least before the sixth. Spinks coming forward getting Bruno s jab in his face and getting caught by the big rights, weakens him up for the ko.
Sounds feasible,Fergie. Leon's only chance is if he can avoid a lot of Frank's arsenal during the early/middle phase of the fight.
Bruno fairly easy, maybe early, but quite possibly later. The stamina issue came about when Bruno was under pressure in a close fight, rather than being purely physical. If he was in control (Coetzer/Bugner/Williams/Gross as examples), he carried his power into the later rounds, and did not have the stamina problem. I do not see Bruno being fazed by the much smaller Spinks, and a confident Bruno is a dangerous fighter.
Yes if he can do that Stevie, then that s his best chance of winning. Taking Frank in to the later rounds, he'd be probably winded by then.
With these two, anything could happen. Leon wouldn't necessarily have to weather a storm, I don't think he could. But Leon could start very fast as evidenced in his fights with Burnett, Coetzee, and Mercado. If he did the same thing with Bruno he could knock him out. Obviously, I like Leon a lot more, but I have it 50/ 50.
