I like AJ here. Maybe Layne winning a few rounds but Joshua gets to blast his man on to his back. I'll say AJ wko 8.

Layne probably does just as good as Povetkin but gets KO’d sooner or later.

Layne had holes in his defence and was never the best conditioned fighter and he was soft in the belly.

Why match him with a 250lb powerpuncher then?

Aj is obviously a prohibitive favourite.

I’d assume you’d take the best version of Layne. He still gets knocked out eventually. But could be an interesting fight for a few rounds.

I know. That’s why I think he gets knocked out in 7.

Joshua all day long, Layne would not be able to overcome Joshua's athleticism, strength and devastating combos...

Smaller men , Corbett,Fitz,Dempsey,Marciano ,get matched against modern heavies all the time,Layne a top ten ranked heavy was bigger than all of them ,why would he be exempt from such a match up? You're trying a bit too hard here.lol

I don’t particularly like either one, but Joshua would win

Both are flawed, but here I think size, and an upgrade in power makes the difference.

Honestly, aside from overwhelming size, speed, power and conditioning it all Layne .. Joshua in a couple of rounds.

I do not rate Layne......at all......only Marcinao fanatics talk him up.........the Bodybuilder will starch him rather quickly........mismatch.....better put AJ in with Foreman or Tyson and they would put a beating on him like he owed them money otr stole their girl friend.

BTW, those two would end Laynes career on the spot in a couple of rounds, guaranteed.
