No doubt Holy is the clear favourite, but why should it necessarily be less competitive than his fights with Dokes, Stewart, Bert Cooper etc? Even in his prime Holy rarely outclassed his HW opponents. Most of the fights were fairly competitive, even though he was great at finding that bit extra. My guess is that we would see something similar here, with Holy putting in an extra gear for a 8-4 type of decision.
I am going to pick Holyfield. But I seem to remember Evander really rating Andy Ruiz after sparring him. Of course Evander was old at the time..and Ruiz was not quite prime himself, but he was more complementary than say Ezzard Charles was after sparring Sonny Liston. like it or not, Ruiz had a bit of talent.
According to @Unforgiven , Andy Ruiz got the trimmed frame of an 168 to 175 lb fighter. So this looks like a mismatch, no ?
Holyfield is an all time great warrior! Ruiz caught lightning in a bottle for one night only! 'Nuff said!!!
People think Joshua is an ATG? Isn't that a bit ... Premature? And I don't see how Ruiz wins ... He would have to KO Holyfield because I don't see him getting a decision ...
