No you fool I am extremely objective I am just not a Lil G ****boy like you. It’s interesting my score card was in line with the judges. The problem is idiots like you don’t understand how to score fights. A guy who struggled with Danny Jacobs is really going to beat Michael “Second to” Nunn. Get out of here!
There's two ways I can see this fight playing out. The first is that Nunn is too quick, slick and skilled for GGG. His quicker hands put little pop-pop-pop combos together and he gets off first, winning exchanges on speed rather than power. Then he uses that snake-like jab, great movement and 6'2 frame to keep himself safe. Canelo troubled GGG with movement in the first fight and Canelo has absolutely nothing on Nunn when it comes to footwork or foot-speed. GGG would lose a clear-cut, but competitive decision in this scenario. The other scenario - which I'm a little more inclined to bet on - is that Nunn wilts. Toney was greater than GGG and a better fighter, but he wasn't a better pressure fighter and he wasn't the offensive powerhouse that GGG was. Yet he still broke Nunn down with consistent bodywork and set Nunn up late when Nunn backed off with his hands down. Golovkin can absolutely break somebody down with body punching, and he was much better at ring-cutting than Toney was, as well as having a better, heavier jab. I think he'd work the jab to the chest, keep on Nunn while taking every opportunity to go to the body and catch Nunn with his hands down and land big, clean punch sometime after the halfway mark. After a follow up of a brutal, lengthy combination, it gets called off. I don't buy that Nunn gets taken out while ahead on points in every situation, but I do in this one. It's a near 50/50 IMO, and I see these two on the same, or similar level H2H. Nunn was more talented than GGG in the sense of speed, athleticism, reflexes and such, whereas GGG was just plain tougher and hit harder. Both were skilled, with GGG having better fundamentals but Nunn being more spontaneous, crafty and probably smarter in there. He was just arrogant with what he could get away with. The dumb **** on the first page who said Nunn stops GGG should be castrated.
Some good analysis but with some faults. Nunn’s fundamentals were better than Lil G’s and Toney was so much more better skilled than Lil G. Lil G’s defence not great. I personally think Nunn takes Lil G’s soul.
It's very hard to take you seriously when you call him 'Lil G'. Not to mention the fact that what you've posted in this thread, and in general, show that you couldn't spell objective if you were given all the letters.
No way, Canelo backed off too much in the first fight without countering, he landed far more punches in the rematch and he landed harder punches too.
GGG`s fundamentals are far better than Nunn`s were, Nunn relied on reach and pure athleticism, he looked awful v Barkley and Starling, two fighters that GGG would have toyed with, GGG has a better more pesistant jab than anybody Nunn faced.
