His resume is actually decent/pretty good but unfortunately many believe Donald, Holyfield and Ruiz beat him so his wins are not clean wins.

Add those 3 above names along with Jameel Mccline, Sergei Liakovich, Monte Barrett and Valuev has a solid resume.

He was legitimately great in his own era so this thread is redundant.

Not his fault the Klitschko’s had an alpha, gargantuan, Russian, lummox phobia. Their reticence is Valuev’s legacy’s loss, curse them!

I think he would have had to win the Haye fight and unify with Wlad. Both tasks clearly below his capabilities as he couldn't even beat Chageav.

The real question is if the Demiurge could do it, or if it would require invention from The One.

Perhaps we could have an ecumenical council to decide.

It wasn't a wash but Haye was the clear winner. I hate Haye too but people underrate him too hard.

Being huge took him very far indeed. That & a granite chin-in appearance & functionality.
But excellent power? No way. Decent HW power is all.

He'd need to come out of retirement and beat both Fury and Joshua.

Does anyone on this thread even understand that Vitali, the supposedly more courageous brother, ducked Valuev? The anti-Russite sentiment in this thread is unbeyewable.

There is really no other way he could walk away, Janitor.
