It's crazy but I think Pac might be able to beat Crawford. He's an underrated counterpuncher and I wonder how Crawford deals with his shocking power. Also his speed, the only comparable fighter was Gamboa and we know how that turned out.

Crawford also fights at a slow pace than Spence, and at Pac's age, his biggest problem is his lack of stamina, something Spence could expose.

    Yeah I hope so too.
But let’s not kid ourselves he was looking to fight McGregor, then Ryan Garcia, im seeing a pattern of weakest boxer available ... aren’t you?

The pattern is most bankable fight, of which both McGregor and Ryan represented. Since McGregor got KO'd and Golden Ploy decided they didn't want Future Golden Boy to be embarrassed and KO'd by a 43 year old, it really does leave Spence or Crawford or Mikey.

most bankable plus least boxing skill, McGregor most notorious, least boxing skill,

ryan Garcia would be a big purse for little risk.

    Mickey Garcia
is the next Rung on that “higher reward least risk ladder” as he is not the same fighter at all in welter weight division.

so I’m gonna say it probably gonna be Mikey G.

id be thrilled for a Spence fight though.

I would say Crawford is the least rewarding with almost = Risk to Spence maybe more we don’t truly know yet.

They want Ryan G. and they'll probably get him...but im sure they have a contract ready for Mikey G. just in case.

Problem for Golden Boy is you are sending Ryan to the guillotine but he'll make way more money than Haney. Haney will be incredibly boring and controversial but they will certainly buy that decision and at least walk away winners. It'll be Canelo v Lara 2.0

biggest payday + weakest threat combo , that’s the blueprint.
Mikey is the next rung on that ladder.

I guess we will know soon enough.

the first Castillo fight( crooked judges) , Ortiz fight (cheap shot ) McGregor (carried him but still got hit with a good uppercut lol) numerous cherry picks and cheating tactics in all his Vegas fights..

If it isn't Spence, Crawford or Porter then nothing else matters at welterweight. I mean Pac has done it all, but if it isn't one of those 3 then just enjoy your family. No one else adds to his legacy and a shock upset only hurts it. He doesn't need money

A shock upset wouldn't hurt his legacy at all. He's coming off of a 2 year lay off and will be 43, FFS.

I was just about to post something similar! Glad I read your post first. Ryan would be a safer fight for Manny as he’s still a kid and is currently at 135 so Manny will have a size advantage. No way he picks Mikey as his A choice because he’s a tougher opponent and his recognition has slipped in recent years so it’s not as big a fight.

Hate to say it but Connor is the easiest and biggest money fight for Manny. Lots of casuals will overlook the fact that he’s not a boxer and that he lost his last MMA fight badly. It’s definitely not a legacy fight but the money would be big and there is a low chance Manny loses or even gets touched up. I’m hoping this isn’t the choice because I hate side shows but I have a sinking suspicion this is a real option. As a boxing fan, I’m not interested in seeing anyone fight mcgregor.
