Ryan is definitely for real. He’s still young and I expect him to continue to make strides. Props to him for wanting big fights and for fighting Campbell so early in his career. Unlike Tank, Garcia is fighting legit LWs and I expect his next opponent to be a top LW if he doesn’t fight Manny. Meanwhile Tank is looking for the next featherweight he can pull up to 135. Tank better hurry up and fight Garcia before he completely passes him up talent wise. If they fight soon, Garcia will dominate and KO tank late. Tank might win an early round or two. If they fight a year from now, Ryan will outclass and KO him easy and early. I suspect Tank will choose a third option, avoid the real fight and fight him on Twitter. Among the young guns at LW, I think Garcia will end up on top. Lopez doesn’t seem to want to fight anyone and is too busy bitching about money, Haney is progressing and it doesn’t appear any top guys want to fight him. Lots of talent at LW but none of the biggest names have big names scheduled. Hope it doesn’t end up like WW where the two biggest names don’t want to fight each other.
Have you noticed though that Garcia does not seem that keen on getting in there with Haney. Haney’s skills might be a problem for a lot of guys.
Garcia publicly called out Tank but when Tank and his management stepped up he is now in retreat mode. I know why because he is not of that life.
I think they will make good money against each when you put in the 2 time email world champion in against the Instagram world champion.
When the Manny fight became a possibility, Garcia moved in that direction. It’s way more money than anything Tank would generate. Any fighter would have jumped at that kind of payout. Plus maybe they realized Tank is all talk. He wants no part of a real fight at his actual weight. Why hasn’t Tank fought a legit LW since moving to the division? If he’s so tough, why is he still fighting no hopers, smaller guys moving up or washed up old guys? Tank is a joke and would get KOd by any top LW. That’s why he’s hiding and talking ****. His puppet master managers know he will be exposed as soon as he fights a top LW. Keep feeding him smaller and washed up guys so his chump fans can pretend he’s a real champ.
He's a good boxer, but he was toothless that night, unfortunately. It would've been a beautiful sight to see him spring the upset. And yes, the commentary was among the worst ever. It was almost laughable. But Mora will know who's putting food on his table.
I think he's for real. Granted the kid is what, 21-22 yo? He's still maturing physically and mentally. He can pretty much fight no-names for the next 5-6 years and STILL accomplish what ESjr and the Charlo bros has
Unfortunately we can only judge base on who he has actually faced. Sure many factors helped Teo get his belts but he still beat a guy many had listed as p4p. Teo has thrown caution to the wind and started calling out names. Ryan? After 21 fights he is still nothing more than a prospect. Not rated in the top 15 by any of the 4 belts. But somehow rank #2 by Ring magazine, owned by DLH his promotor. With DLH as his promotor he has advantages that many fighters don't have. He could have easily fought for any of those belts or faced better oppositions. So accessing if he is for real or not is an I don't know till he steps up in competition.
Tank is a real champ no fear about that. As Garcia was calling him out we knew he would duck Tank once Tank , Leonard Ellerbe and Floyd showed interest. Pacquiao fight will never happen.
