Agbeko incorporating an inside-leaping hook from an inert standing base, perhaps looking to rattle Shishkin with the unexpected, but Shishkin remains composed, poking with the jab and looking to set up a skewering right down the middle. Agbeko is playing keepaway, now and then roping out a jab on the belt line whilst bent over.

Agbeko looks like he's already punched himself out.. No zip on any of his counters.

 

He needs to regain Shishkin's respect or he'll be chewed up and spat out.

He's jabbing at air just to keep Shishkin off him in a round where he started trying to be the aggressor... Stick a fork in him.

Shishkin is throwing single and double jabs at the moving target on the outside, and 1-2s anytime he traps him momentarily on the ropes. Agbeko just keeps skipping halfway in to sprinkle in a dusting of light jabs in Shihskin's line of sight and then hop on his bike again. Heavy mouth breathing from Agbeko now picked up by even the ringside mics at the commentary.

Shishkin 108 of 296, 38%

Agbeko 59 of 268, 22%

 

Both of these guys are a bit frustrating to watch. Shishkin with the blandness of his offense. Agbeko with his lack of output, and tentative approach.

Shish is clearly the better fighter, but I can’t help but feel Agbeko would at least have some success of he’d stand his ground more and throw a few combos.

Cut getting worse but Shishkin is doing more and more damage.

Shishkin ignores the blood trickling down his left cheek as he continues to slam Agbeko's jaw and ribs with heavy shotput rights after using the jab to range-find and set trajectory. Agbeko evading, flicking jabs, and looking to maul & stall when all else fails.
