Definitely a good move. His career's stood still for almost two years now. Wasn't happy with the deal from Hearn, that's fair enough. Hopefully this link-up can land him a world title fight in the next 12-16 months, although I'd prefer to see him in with Mikhalkin for the vacant EBU title.

 

Frank with his WBO connections will have Johnson fight some bum and be made WBO mandatory to fight Kovalev. If he wins or loses that fight he can still fight Yarde for big domestic fight after.

 

Callum Johnson is just as strong as beterbiev and that's not an exaggeration. He's not as skilled as beterbiev.

You could say that, but then take a look at Callums career. He went to war with Beteriev and then what? He has had 1 fight since that. And the Beterbiev fight happened in 2018 FFS.

Hearn is a good promoter, but he grossly mishandled Callum Johnson. The man needs activity.

 

Gallagher thinks as a manager first (greed) and as a trainer second. He gets his 2 x 10% either way.

 

Hearn does this. He signs fighters just to put them on a shelf so they stay away from his money men and division favourites.
