Fury isn't a fraud he is amazingly skilled and showed great boxing against Klitschko, Wilder and Chisora and beat them all with ease and calling him one will take a lot from Joshua's win provided he actually beats him.

But i will say he's pretty overrated at the moment. They treat him like he's some monster KO machine after failing to properly knock out Wilder even after brutalizing him.

A lot of Fury fans are just writing Joshua off because of he got blasted out by Ruiz and went hell and back with Klitschko. I find that ironic because they remind me of the people who wrote Fury off when he had to pick himself up off the canvas against a Cruiserweight with a low KO ratio and went hell and back with McDermott.

These kinds of people dont take into account that styles make fights and that fighters can improve. You know what they say, people who dont learn history are doomed to repeat it

I agree 100% except the prediction sort of. It depends in what weight Fury comes in. What if Fury comes in at 260+ ? If he does he probably wont be able to slip every power shot and frustrate Joshua at range like he did it against Klitschko. He weight 246 against Klitschko because he wanted to be more light on his toes and the same thing should apply to Joshua because he is FAR more dangerous than Klitschko at mid-close range. In addition to that Joshua is just naturally more agressive anyway and would still have a considerably better chance than gunshy Wlad did in Dusseldorf

I don't think he needs to come in at 246 like he did against Wlad to perform well and move well against AJ to simply out box him.
As long as he manages to come in around 257 like he did in the first Wilder fight then he'll have the sufficient speed, footwork and reflexes that he needs. Fury's gas tank at that weight should be ok as well, just as it was against Wilder.

I think most agree Furys got great boxing skills and ring iQ, fairly decent power when he wants too, and a good defence and reflexes. Along with a half decent chin, great recovery powers...and just as importantly a great fighting heart..

Im not sure exactly what his game plan will be. There's been mention of him doing the wilder 2 Kronk style come forward and put-it-on-him game plan from round 1. I'm not sure if that's wise doing that from round 1. Id favour Fury middle to late rounds to put it on him when AJ will probably be gassing and completely out of his comfort zone.
Very much looking forward to it, just hope it's sooner rather than later.

Who do you pick to win?

I think he does. Aj is far better going forwards than Wilder or Klitschko. Even in the first fight against Wilder he got caught a few times. Aj would be throwing crisp combos instead of 1 punch at a time or a sloppy 3 piece combination. Fury coming in at 257 isn't bad but he'll eventually get caught because he isn't necessarily light on his toes and Aj is a lot better than Wilder at finishing. Aj will also be looking to work the body at select times instead of just headhunting like Wilder and Klitschko were.

If both are on their best days it's a 50/50 fight. But i dont know if Fury will come in below 260. When they officially weigh in an Fury is above 260 I'll probably favor Aj by late round TKO

    Good post.

The Joshua that did a job on Klitschko and Povetkin was ruthless. He showed shades of that against Pulev but I still sensed a self preservation in that performance rather than the ruthlessness he showed prior to Ruiz 1.

I think this current version of Joshua is cagey and patient but still carries that punch power. He doesn't pursue openings but rather waits for them to present themselves. Fury used the Kronk style to really smother and rough Wilder up on the inside. Wilder is useless on the inside. Joshua however has that money shot with his uppercut. It's absolutely brutal.

I would lean towards Fury to win but it's as close to 50/50 as you can get.

I hope the Breazeale and Wallin fight is good but in reality, it's really just two losers fighting hahah. This is how far they have lowered the bar now, we are getting up for a fight between two guys that lost the the top guys. I think Breazeale is limited but he is better than Wallin. But the inactivity will hurt him worse than Wallin will. But in he end, I just want to see a good fight. I don't give Fury much credit because he has been fighting for all of these years and he has somehow successfully avoided 90% of the best heavyweights in the last 67 years or so. Similar to Wilder.

Wallin and Breazeale for their shortcomings have both shown great heart in the ring so I am expecting a tear up. I do not think Fury is a ducker he has travelled to fight top guys and if he had Matchroom backing him he would have been in bigger fights, he has fought the best and won so I do not see why he would be scared to fight any of the others. Mick just couldn't make the same level of fights that Matchroom can.

Fury has fought 3 guys in the current top 30 in the world and only 1 in the current top 15 in the WBC heavyweight rankings. He has never defended a belt and he has been caught on PEDs. There is no excuse for any of that, especially if you are the so called number one . He DID have Matchroom's backing when Hearn wanted Fury to fight AJ and then later Whyte. Fury refused both yet fought Wilder for less. Tell me why Fury was OK to fight Kaybyel but not Whyte? Why is it OK for him to fight Wallin, Schwarz, Pianeta and Sefari and not fight any of the top 30 guys instead? And how can he keep fighting bums, and not be considered a ducker?

Fury is not the kind of guy to bend over like Joshua does for matchroom. He actually made more money with Top Rank than Hearn could offer and still has leverage for the big fight. he was the 11th best paid athlete in the world in 2020 (Joshua was 19th).

OK, but please explain where all the money that Fury supposedly made from these fights came from? Because the math does not add up. They gave away more tickets than they sold for the Wallin fight. And if both he and Wilder made as much money as they said, then the fight would have been in the hole By millions. Again, Fury is conning you all. Just like when he said he had mental illness. Just like when he said he donated his entire purse to charity. Just like when he told you all he ate wild boar testicles hahaha.

Wow. If you really believe that Fury got 25 million from that fight, then God bless you hahah. I am sure that you believe him when he said he ate wild boar's testicles too, instead of using nandrolone. And I am also sure you believed he donated his entire purse to charity from the first Wilder fight hahah. You also believed that he had mental illness issues (which has strangely just disapeared lately).

It wasn't Fury who said it, Dan Raphael and several other boxing journalists who reported it.

    https://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41091722-4

"official contract purses for Saturday night's Top Rank/Premier Boxing Champions pay-per-view card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena: Deontay Wilder $5M and Tyson Fury $5M, but both are guaranteed more than $25M apiece plus percentages of any PPV profits."

Do the math and if you come up with Fury and Wilder both getting 25 million apiece, then again, God bless you hahah. You have the same mindset of the lunatics that stormed the Capitol building
