There were some similarities between those two fighters which would play into Foreman’s hands. But I don’t know if Tyson was Taylor made.
I wouldn't go that far. I still maintain that George had some stylistic advantages that would really frustrate Tyson, like the fact he was like a brick wall and would refuse to back up just like Holyfield, his roughhouse tactics and pushing would disrupt Tyson's rhythm, and that he is a devastating body puncher (something Tyson rarely had to deal with). Plus he had powerful uppercuts and a heavy jab. On the other hand, George had poor head movement and somewhat slow hands, which could definitely create openings for Tyson's blazing hand speed. Tyson's fast starting style could allow for him to blitz the plodding mummy early and land a powerful barrage. Tyson was also a great body puncher, but his short arms and height means that if he went for them he'd be in range for George's clubbing uppercuts and shoving. I don't think a single fighter in George's entire career managed to force him to fight at close range for an extended period of time. The way I see it, Tyson would need to overwhelm George from the very beginning and hit him with everything but the kitchen sink, use his speed and head movement, get in and get out. If he can do that and avoid taking too much punishment he might be able to force the ref to stop it from sheer volume of unanswered punches, especially if he manages to score a knock down. If he doesn't take George out by the 4th, he will be in serious trouble because undoubtedly he will have burned through his gas tank fighting at full throttle for so long. I don't see this as the most likely scenario as George would shove, tie up, or make things ugly. Plus he had both a granite chin and plenty of heart having gotten off the floor to win before. I find it a bit more likely Tyson gets frustrated by constantly being pushed outside of range, redirected like a matador does with a bull, and being walked into heavy bombs. I would favor George 6:4 due to his reach, height, brute strength, and mauling style but anything could happen and it would be a crazy match either way.
I think the physicality of Tyson would make it difficult for Foreman to push him around. A lot of early foreman's game relies on pushes and framing and Tyson would just push back and fire to the body. However I could see this eventually wearing on Tyson, both mind and body, and leading to a finish.
As to Old Foreman I think he was too big for all. Probably someone besides Holyfield and Morrison could have beaten him by decision but nobody could have dropped him, neither Tyson.
No, his head movement was too good, he was too off centre, but he had a serious style advantage that is for sure.
Mike would have been brutally stopped in 2, but I get the feeling he would have shook George with that right hand. He would have done better, even in that short time, than Norton or Frazier.
