What a load of crap. Floyd was a master at using feints to set up shots. He constantly used more feints than Crawford. It was hard to set what Floyd would throw because he was a master at disguising his punches. Crawford has a bad tendency of squatting down before he throws. He’s much easier to anticipate/timed than Floyd. The skills and athleticism levels are all in favor of Floyd.
Crawford spanks him. Too big too strong too good. Floyd's beating Judah is hardly that impressive, Crawford would best Judah easy at welter. Judah was bamboozled by a wonky Witter.
Too good? I guess we’ll never find out. I don’t see anything spectacular about Crawford’s skills that Floyd wouldn’t be able to negate. Styles make fights. Floyd was simply at another level in comparison to the current class of Welterweights. I definitely do think Crawford would beat Zab by constantly pressuring him, but Crawford would still have problems with his speed and raw athleticism.
when did size or strength ever bother floyd? and you can't be considered "too good" with that resume. not against the best boxer of his era.
Sorry but there are levels and I believe there is a reason we haven't seen crawford step in with a top level opponent yet. I've been a floyd critic for as long as he's switched from pbf to money, but I think he wins this. I think crawford would start off pawing and posing and get caught off guard with clean lead rights - especially if he starts off southpaw. Bud is good but I think floyd is a level above. If crawford fights and beats Thurman , spence or any top welterweight in impressive fashion then I may change my tune. But, in reality, we all know neither of them would take the fight...
Floyd hands down. You'll be lucky to see a fighter as good as floyd come along in the next 20 or 30 years. His level of skill is far from the norm.
You mean, when did he crap himself in front of Margarito, when did he run away from Pacquaio for ten years? Mayweather has Hatton and Judah, Crawford would beat both easier than Floyd did, and he'd beat Floyd as well.
Crawford would beat Zab easier than Floyd did. Judah isn't anything to write home about anyway. Crawford's style hardly plays in to Floyd's hands if we're talking about styles, especially at welterweight.
do you mean the margarito who lost 50% of his fights at the business end of his career? and did you forget floyd's UD over pacman at WW which is head and shoulders above anyone crawford has faced? you're the type of person you buys into hype and allows fighters like crawford to go through their entire career without facing anyone, while getting rich off casuals like yourself. you clearly hate floyd (probably because he dismantled your heroes), because nothing on crawford's resume suggests he can hold a candle to floyd. not a thing.
I hate Mayweather with a passion, a fraud who cherrypicked most of his career. However, he was clearly skilled and he'd beat Crawford. Crawford is a plain weight bully. He was huge against Gamboa and got hurt by him. He even looks big at welterweight. No surpise as I've heard he walks around 170-180. Crawford has good timing, sharp reflexes, spiteful punches, good balance. Mayweather has better timing, sharper reflexes, a lot snap to his punches and actually fought people around his size (note that this was with many conditions)
Lol...until he got tired?!?!?! Judah did not get tired, Floyd just figured him out. After round 4, Floyd changed up his tactics and shelled up ala Winky wright and started walking Judah down. I don't know if Crawford would beat Floyd or vice versa but Floyd has fought the better caliber of fighters than Crawford has. None of the guys on Crawford resume would beat Floyd but some of the fighters on Floyd's resume would beat Crawford.
