Is Avanesyan any good?? Haven't seen him at all but all I've heard is he's lost pretty much everytime he's stepped up..

I think Kelly will either win this fairly wide or by late stoppage. Ava's wins over Lejarraga are getting overblown and overrated. He's still the same fighter that struggled against an old Mosley, and got beat down by Peterson and Kavaliauskas. Kerman was just the perfect style clash for him, and had no defense, and even then, the first was a fairly competitive match up until the stoppage. Ava tends to struggle with movers, and if he's on his game, Kelly can move all night. So think Josh will play it safe and keep it at range and tee off on him from start to finish. Yeah Kelly struggled with Robinson and arguably deserved that draw, or even a loss, but so did Kavaliauskas who stopped Ava. And I had Kavaliauskas' match scored a close win for Robinson as well. Robinson is all around just a better fighter than Ava. So yeah, I think the hipster fanboys who detest Kelly are letting their judgment get clouded here, and are looking to the fairly limited Avanesyan as their knight in shining armor, and I think they're going to be bitterly disappointed.

Also, a word of warning of all of you, while it might look like Gill is up against it, because Juarez has had several upset wins, he's looked like warmed over ass meat lately and is frequenly being stopped by featherfists. So I think Gill is safe. However... do not be shocked if Davies is battered senseless and stopped. Gollaz Valenzuela is no joke, he controls range quite well, hits very hard, is accurate as hell, places his shots very well, his jab is thudding and most importantly, his hands are very fast, he lands in combination, and his gas tank, like most Mexicans is solid.. So while I'm not overstating it because of what happened with Warrington and Lara last week, it's just that, I watched Gollaz last night, and I literally see nothing but a huge banana peel when I was scouting him. The same kind of banana peel that I saw when I watched Julio Cesar Martinez before his fight with Selby.

He's good, and Kelly will have his hands full for sure.
I even briefly thought to pick Avan over Kelly for the league.

I picked Avanesyan for the League because why not I'm near the top for my first season got nothing to lose.

However, I feel like the break has helped Kelly to make a lot of improvements. Avensyan is good but he isn't a top 10 welterweight, a good test nonetheless.

Avanesyan can't just aimlessly walk forward because otherwise Kelly will run rings around him.

I think Kelly will probably win UD but I picked Avanesyan to win by UD on the League for some reason.

Kelly should have lost against Robinson, who outworked him. I dont see anything special. Avanasyan for the win.

I 100% agree here. I have a solid sized bet on Gollaz at +425. He's a freaking monster. No idea why they match Davies with him. Davies was kind of chinny in the past and he also had some gas tank issues at times. If he's not at 100% here he gonna get a nice little beatdown. One thing i noticed though, Davies has a solid size advantage here and looked 1 weight class bigger on the scales. But nothing a Mexican couldn't overcome in fire fight.

I see a MD, SD or perhaps a draw either way this fight goes to the final bell or ends late TKO from Mexico

David got this I think. . Kelly doesn't have the mustard in his mitts to keep this guy off him. . He seemed to posture around nervously at the weigh in too while David seemed relaxed and confidant.

If PBK hasn't shaved that stupid beard off or given it a good trim he will increase his chances of losing ten-fold. Mark my words, I know what I'm talking about here, appearance matters and if you're rocking a ridiculous new haircut (especially a floppy one), a stupid new beard, or knee-high socks it attracts negative energy like a magnet and it greatly increases the chance of everything going pear shaped for you, especially, and I can't emphasize this enough, if you get off to a bad start.
