Even then, in Scotland calling someone an orange b*****d is in relation to the football club one supports, nothing to do with race! What has happened has happened. Taylor said what he said back then. I hope he has learnt from it and won’t do it again, and that they aren’t a reflection of his actual views. Are you genuinely suggesting that calling someone an ‘orange b’ in Scotland is to do with race? If so, you clearly have no idea about Scottish culture and ergo you are talking pish! To educate, in Scotland (as with Northern Ireland) there is a significant support of William of Orange. This is demonstrated by the annual Orange Walk, and lodges dotted around the country. Calling someone an ‘Orange xxxx’ is calling them a supporter of this (ie Protestant / or a Rangers fan). This is beyond dispute. It’s not a nice thing to say, and religious bigotry is a huge issue in Scotland, but it’s certainly not racist. Your foolishness is further compounded with you claiming that the one incident we know of may be more than one - based on zero evidence.You can’t start villainising people with no reasonable evidence unless you have an agenda.
