Same I was really impressed by Kelly early on, he just came up against a tougher man.

 

I don't get why people are obsessed with boxers being humble. They are going in there to fight each other.

 

To a certain point I’d agree.

Avanesyan is European champion- I don’t get how you can sidestep champions without damaging reputations

 

Kelly is pretty tough, seen him get pasted in the amateurs in a fight and he doesn't quit so fair play to him.

I'd love to see Ava vs Benn, never going to happen though but that's the fight Connor should be clambering for...they won't go anywhere near him though.

They need to take a look at themselves, boxing isn't supposed to be 1-50 on Matchroom fighters fighting Romanian Taxi Drivers on PPV.
Well done to Eddie for the card tonight considering there are no fans we need more of these 50-50 fights as main event Saturday night cards on regular Sky. We need to see our prospects in proper tests so when they do go onto world title fights they have the experience to deal with the situations JK will learn more from tonight than fighting 5 more fights against Journymen. We need to stop seeing this protecting the 0 and having 30 fights against nobodys then getting beatdowns as soon as they step up on the world scene as they dont have the hard fights in the bank to progress them from prospects to World level fighters. That is the main reason the Americans and the Mexicans are so far in front of us in most divisions other than HW.
Again well done Eddie for rolling the dice and can we please have more of it instead of Dillian Whyte and Chisora on PPV against 40+ year old over the hill guys.

Kelly was boxing so well there but like Groves he seems to gas with that style. I really wanted him to win tonight, he is a quality boxer but it's obvious he can't carry that style under pressure for 6 rounds never mind 12.

 

There is nothing wrong with being flashy and arrogant, it is all entertainment.
