Odd one. Watching them first four rounds....josh looked the world class talent and david the british level fighter.

Tend to agree with connor benn...its either a weight issue or josh has hamster lungs. Tend to think the weight played a part...he was done in after 4 rounds. The boys pressure was good...but after the camp they,ve talked about no one should be gassing after four rounds especially when it was josh that was landing heavy most of the fight till he tired out anyway.

I think their is an issue with his toughness....but imo he needs to move up. Connor benn would probably beat him and josh is levels above him in skill level. Tbf he was levels above david tonight as well. His stamina was absolutely terrible tho. Got to mainly be a weight issue...problem is dont think hes that tough either. But weights playing a big part in his downfall by the looks of it.

Probably was too big a test for 12 fights in. These types of guys should go to warren imo. Eddie needs decent tv fights for his guys now. Frank can move them along slower.

Dress it up however you want he got undressed and battered by a much smaller Euro level fighter.and for those saying he should move up to 154?...wtf he's frail and weak where he is.

Avenysan is much better than Euro and has proven so in his last 4 fights. He has already operated comfortably at world level and he is ready to do it again.

Is that not because of the weight tho surely? As far as i see it if you can only fight at a high pace for four rounds...and training as hard as they are...it does point towards it being a weight issue.

Just cant see a pro athlete thats training as hard as they are would be done after four rounds.

Hes quick...he should translate to the higher weight well...as long as he takes a step back in his level of opponents...grow into the weight slowly while hes still young enough to do it.

Probably right bud. Think it could be a bit of both.

If its not the weight hes pretty much done if he can only fight at that pace for four rounds. Was shattered after four rounds tonight.

Egis is very good, gave Crawford his toughest fight ever.

    He even dropped Terence.

Why? Kelly was the challenger. Kelly is domestic level and should fight for the British title later in the year, and then he can step up to European level when/if he has improved. Avanesyan is a top 10 welter, and will get a world title shot. That is levels above Kelly at the moment. Hearn used Avanesyan to test Kelly; sink or swim, as Eddie said. Unfortunately for Kelly, he just does not have those boxing skills, stamina and reflexes to go 12 rounds against world level boxers (yet), and he also lacks power. He has a lot to improve, especially his defence and stamina.

For anyone who has seen Kelly's and Avanesyan's last fights, the outcome was very predictable. Only surprise was that the stoppage came a bit early. I thought Kelly would last 2-3 rounds more.

Avanesyan is now well placed for a title shot, or an eliminator fight to become a mandatory. That was also what Eddie promised him with his three-fight Matchroom contract, where Kelly was the second of three fights.

    Rematch? LOL

The biggest problem for Kelly is his gas tank if you heard his panting at the end of the 5th round it was quite embarrassing for a athlete at that level to be so gassed out

Let's get it right, none of them are stepping through the ropes for our entertainment, it's solely for the big fat cheques they get
