Fury's resume is not bad at all. Klichscko- ATG Wilder- Long reigning titlist Cunningham-Cruiserweight champ Wallin- newly minted contdender ChisoraX2- title challenger and contender for over ten years Kingpin Johnson- title challenger and contender when Fury beat him Hammer- contender when Fury beat him Pianeta- title challenger You can add Rogan, Able, McDermott, Schwartz...go as far down as you like. Every day one these boards we hear guys sing the praises of guys who have done a lot less.
Breaz is a gimme fight for any of the top guys and not stopping him at this point tells me more than outboxing him does. This boost for furys resume is marginal at best, and even with it, he continues to have a poor one (resume). Just in my opinion.
Yes. He wasn't able to take him out like Joshua or Wilder so that says something. But he's top 10 material. Feed him to Ruiz
I would consider it a boost. If I remember correctly Wallin wasn’t ranked even top 25 when he took on Fury. I think this gets him up there as a contender now. I think heavys overall are not that skilled so it’s easy to criticize them. I think this is a solid win at heavys.
Wallin lacks power. He has everything else, and is a southpaw to boot, but he lacks power and always will.
Well he had enough power to stun Fury in round 12. But then again a Cruiserweight put Fury down so i dont know
He looks like he pushes his shots from a static base, which is a technique issue. If he could step in and turn over his punches I'm sure we'd see an increase in his power, but it might also throw off his entire game as well. It's likely a trade off he doesn't want to make at this stage.
Can you link a post please where it shows somebody “sing the praises” of a fighter who has done less than Tom Schwartz.
Eh a decision against lumbering Breazeale doesn't do too much besides making Fury's win look against wallin look better. Most people expected Wallin to win a UD. As of now Wallin isn't even Kubrat Pulev tier yet
