Valdez - great at FW, superb at SFW. A sublime performance from him. Berchelt needs some work but can come back.

Happy for Valdez. Seems like a good guy. I won’t underestimate him again. He fought smart, he fought tough. He adapted and executed a well rounded fight plan in a grudge match. Good on him.

Tbf though Berchelt was out on his feet and moving forward like a zombie at that point.. His reflexes were shot. The JMM and Tank-LSC KOs were sprung out of nowhere on a guy with his senses intact.

TBF, it's not like being suspicious of Reynosa is an unreasonable position.

That said, there are plenty of other things to credit this k.o. then PEDs, like Berchelt's defense which is so bad it became a marketing tool.

Was that a better KO than when Sergio Martinez decapitated Paul Williams?! Perhaps..

Classy kid the way he handled it going over to the stool. Not just your obligatory ‘good fight,’ but a heartfelt exchange. He clearly respected the man he took the belt from.

Boxing doesn’t have to be about ‘I hate that guy’ and all that other (mostly) fake crap. It’s a sport. It doesn’t require hatred or anger.
