Great fight. Maxwell is a puncher, and has vulnerabilities and AEB is a skillet, very slick but no power. I'm going for a UD for Ennis-Brown.
One of those fights where I favour Ennis brown but wouldnt be surprised to see Maxwell stop him late and being 3 or 4 points down on the scorecards.
Maxwell is always great entertainment and worth watching, sadly can't comment on the outcome as not familiar with Ennis-Brown, but will be checking his past fights out before this
I would prefer Maxwell to win as he is much more entertaining but I think he will struggle with AEB. Hoping the bookies put Maxwell in short
AEB is very boring, has skills but no power. I fancy Maxwell to win it and hope he does. He is the better fighter to watch and the one I would like to see progress. Loved his ko of the showboating Frenchman but that fight showed me he will be in trouble against big punchers and can be vulnerable
Good boxing skills, but my mother hits harder than him. I think Maxwell will be well behind on points, but may catch up with him in the later rounds.
Winner of this is where Robbie Davies Jr should be looking after his loss at the weekend. After he finds a new trainer IMO!
Eddie will keep onto him I'd imagine. Despite recent losing efforts, he's provided a fight of the year contender with Ritson and then his fight on the weekend was an entertaining scrap also.
He might be thrown up against Dalton Smith after Smith has one more step up fight against Lee Appleyard maybe. For Maxwell Brown I think Maxwell will stop Brown late.
That's a good shout that. Been really impressed with Dalton Smith so far albeit against limited opposition.
AEB has boxed at a really good level since 2017, beating a number of very good domestic boxers. However since Maxwell struggled against that showboating lad (who was unbeaten) he has also stepped up and Joe Hughes was a very good win last time out.
I think Maxwell will win by stoppage around rounds 10 or 11; however, I don't believe AEB will build up a sizable points lead. I think the early rounds may be pretty tight and possibly a bit scrappy. I appreciate AEB has done it the hard way, but Sam Maxwell isn't a Glenn Foot or Philip Bowes. I can see Maxwell's strength, accuracy, and heavier handed shots slowing AEB down by rounds 7-8, making AEB less elusive. AEB also has a tendency to jump in with his shots on occasion. He got caught clean by Bowes and Foot coming in with his chin up at times in both fights - if he does that against Maxwell, at some point in the fight, he'll certainly know about it. Even if it goes the distance, I'd think Maxwell will have enough decisive rounds in the bank to win by 2 or 3 points (on my card at least).
