Hagler destroys everyone on gggs resume with the exception of canelo who he would still beat. I can't say the same for ggg who would have multiple loses if he fought the same guys Hagler fought. It's easy to look impressive when you're feasting on no-hopers like wade and Rosado. There's no coincidence that his so called best power ever fell off after he finally stepped up his level of comp.

Gggs power has already proven to be overrated. He stopped a bunch of d and c level guys his resume is littered with them and people like you fell for the hype. Don't get mad at me because I'm telling you like it is because I can see through it and you can't.

When he stepped up in class to jacobs a guy he was predicted to ktfo and a guy who had been stopped before he didn't deliver. When he was supposed to knock canelo out in their first fight he didn't deliver. He couldn't knock out chenko either who got in his ass and arguably beat him. His power is clearly overrated i can't say that his power is better than Hagler's because Hagler fought and stopped better fighters than ggg did and that's what we have to go on not hype.

"Look at the punches" is not going to cut it here man. GGG literally fought nothing but bums until Jacobs and coincidentally stopped showing that insane punching power your referring to. Canelo ate clean shots for 24 rounds and didn't go anywhere. His power clearly was not as elite as it looked before stepping up.

No Pimp, I didn't fall for any hype. I leave that **** out the door. I don't need boxrec or some network to tell me a fighter is special. That's what you do. And BTW, last I looked Hagler didn't KO everyone as well.

WHo cares if he didn't KO jacobs... because 3G has power, is he supposed to KO everyone because some message baorders say so? You take what people say on this board waaay too serious.

Im looking at the people Hagler stopped compared to who ggg stopped. The level of fighter Hagler stopped is superior those are facts. Gggs best stoppage is probably murray or lemuiex that's nothing to write home about.

So 3G can't have more power because he's not as great as Hagler... got it.

Let's also not forget 2 things:

Hagler retired when he was, what, 32? 33? That is basically what is now regarded as "prime" Golovkin. We are comparing retirement age GGG to prime Hagler.

Golovkin fights around 10 pounds heavier than Hagler did. He's not only significantly bigger himself, but he's also facing much larger guys. Some of these guys weigh north of 180 on fight night after rehydrating.

Wilder hasnt stopped anybody halfway decent. But nobody is denying he hit hard.

GGG is a strong, but not elite puncher. Hes a Curtis Stevens level hitter. Lemieux is an elite MW hitter. The reason GGG dominated them both is his jab and skills were superior.

Hagler was the same way. Hes a hard hitter, but plenty of MWs can hit harder.

Excellent point here! If these guy like Pimp are consistent (Big if), then they would say DW isn't a heavy hitter because his resume is so bad. But nooo....

Duran would not to withstand anything, his defense was great, and Golovkin isn't a quick puncher like Hearns.

I can see Duran just having his way with Golovkin.

Golovkin is really good at KO C level opposition, and Welterweights.
