He couldn't stay out of his hometown which had alot of bad influences. Almosr EVERYTIME he went back he got into trouble. Add to the fact that he tinkered with his style AND he wasn't training like he was suppose to and that spells disaster. He had so much talent it wasn't even funny. I'll tell you right now prime for prime and st their peak he beats Toney.
Pre prime Toney beat prime Nunn. The year leading up to the Toney fight Nunn defeated kambalay barkley, Starling and Curry
I'd say by 94, it's still a close fight. But Nunn had lost a fair bit of himself by this point, so I'll say Eubank by close decision.
He looked different against Starling, Curry and Toney because they were elite fighters. I don't buy into the idea the he conveniently was past prime at the exact same time he fought the 4 toughest opponents of his career
Bro Curry was SHOT to bits by the time he fought Nunn. Nunn was disinterested in both bouts. When he first turned pro people had a hard time landing on him- he moved alot. Unfortunately that doesn't sell tickets so he tried to change his style up add to te fact that he got doen right lazy and you have disaster waiting to happen. He had so much talent I get sick thinking about it. 6'3 smooth southpaw who could glide and had amazing reflexes.
Tate and Kalambay were his two best opponents. Both at their peaks and full middleweights. He looked amazing against Roldan. Darnell Knox thought the referee had hit him.
