I think it's more down to whether you believe Warrington can only fight one or not? It's clear to see he can't win fighting like that as Lara would just outgun him. Now the bigger question is even if Warrington does plan to fight another way vs Lara would he inevitably get dragged into a fight that he doesn't want.
Agree mate. Thats the big question, i just wouldnt write him off completely. Bit of a safety first approach and some matchroom judges should see him cruise to a wide UD.
Look at the records of the 2 judges that gave Warrington the hometown decision. Michael Alexander also gave Ritson the home win over Vazquez. Steve Gray also gave Zelfa the home win over Martinez by 118-111. Warrington knows he's lost 2 out of his 3 fights since 2018.
Blah blah blah. Get over it. Kids got his shot at another vacant title, his never beaten a champion and lost the main one he so much wanted to win. Also your critical over judges for cheating (favouring a home fighter) but support a convicted drug cheat.
Warrington was not a robbery against Kid, it was a close contest which depended on what you like see, but everyone peddling the robbery card has made the fight seem a lot different to what it was.
I don't think Warrington ever will. He couldn't get over Barry being too physical for him and immediately hired a new Strength and Conditioning Coach. The robbery narrative of the Galahad fight is mostly powered by the dislike for Warrington and his fans. It was a close fight. It wasn't clear either way. Further, this isn't the amateurs. Landing one or two more shots a round isn't the bottom line. Josh didn't look great but equally telling was Galahad not having any points taken. It was a mess.
Avoiding the question again about supporting a drug cheat. So warrington loss to lara was all down to Barry's hugging. I was gutted josh lost to lara but it was nice to see someone come to win not survive and pick up a career high purse.
