Look at Usyk he fought 4 times within 12 months exclusively high level opposition and all in their back yards. Besides his first Hw fight against Whiterspoon, which was a due to sponge dropping out, he didnt have a single bad matchup in years.

In life many people hate the “establishment” as they feel that the cards are stacked in their favour, leaving the common person at a huge disadvantage. This mentality is deep rooted, and very toxic. Apply that same logic to boxing. We’re already hardwired to dislike Canelo.
I'm not a massive fan but I just want to point out he fought GGG twice So don't really understand the notion he ducked him. He fought him twice, when GGG was still at a top level (not saying he isn't top level now, he probably still is, but he was even better in 2017 and 2018).
2 major reasons: 1. He is the best so people are jealous 2. He beat Lil G and showed he was not this mythical monster people made him out to be. Another reason was the Clenbuterol contaminated meat he eat in error. Personally I really like him a lot. By the time he is finished he may be regarded as the best ever produced from Mexico alongside the great Salvador Sanchez (what a fighter he was).
