I had a good laugh on this post as I predicted those of you who hate Canelo are pissed off because he kicked Lil G’s ass. A few primary reasons: 1) He's probably the No. 1 attraction in the sport, which always invites detractors; 2) He is widely perceived to be protected on the scorecards as evidenced most controversially in GGG I; 3) Vast change to his physique beyond what would be normal coming up in weight, bringing his power with him, combined with the positive Clen tests. Speaking for myself, he reminds me of a young SRL and I don't mean that as a compliment. Self-absorbed and petty. But he's a great fighter who, like Leonard, is willing to take risks. He didn't have to fight Lara, for example, a rough matchup for him. I don't have it out for him, but yes, he's almost definitely on gear.
