His record is padded ffs 7 years as a professional and he beats Jason Gavern to go 32-0 then gets his 1st title shot against bang average Bermane stiverne and wins on points.then 5 sub par years as a champion where his best win is luis Ortiz..have a think about that and if you're really still impressed then you aren't very intelligent.also there's no evidence Joshua ducked Ortiz,it's the other way around and there's proof..more fantasy bs from fury nutjobs.

I wouldn't go so far that he lost every round but I get what you're saying. Regardless, his record in those bouts is 2-1-1 which isn't reflective of someone who is ****. Wilder has some decent wins, okay not those reflective of #1 in the division (despite him widely ranked that after AJs Ruiz duo of bouts) but he was still an undefeated champion and a defining win for Fury. I would argue those fights alone beat anything AJ has done.

I wasn't aware of this but I have had a read since your message and you are right - my mistake.

I'm not saying Wilder was/is a bonified ATG killer, but he was an undefeated champion who was knocking out everybody. You call his record which was rightfully very padded (albeit with a few decent wins) but what else could he do with his opponents than knock them out? He lost a lot of rounds but his record is a string of WKO/WTKO. At the end of the day, Wilder was favourite twice. You don't need to try and insult me why don't you try and debate? It's more fun, honestly.

To go back to your post, yes Wilder boxing Jason Gavern after 7 years isn't great. In fairness Fury fought Seferi and Pianeta 10 years after he turned pro, though they were admittedly tune up fights after a long lay off.

Wilder beat Stiverne, but is that any worse than Joshua beating Charles Martin?

Finally, I'm not saying that Wilder has a stellar record, but two knockout wins over Luis Ortiz are solid wins. I also didn't realise AJ hadnt ducked Ortiz, for which I hold my hands up and was mistaken.

Joshua just shades it, and a lot of that is due to most of his recent fights being title defenses, and the ruiz comeback. For those saying AJ has never been underdog might want to go read back through this forum before 2nd Ruiz fight, not many were giving him a chance. If Fury used those tactics after a KO loss to win back the gold then it would have been a 'masterclass'. I like both fighters equally, and i'm pissed off we didnt get half a dozen Fury title defenses after he beat Wlad, and who knows, he might have taken care of Joshua earlier and we wouldnt be having this discussion. I just don't see how people can't give credit to AJ, he's only gone down the route that he's been given, and now Wilder admitted he was offered more money than the Fury fight says a lot. AJ has 8 world titles defenses, Fury has none. Would love for them to have a trilogy and settle it, i don't have a dog in this fight, i want to see them both beat the **** out of each other.

Fury dethroned a 10 year reign ATG in his back yard

AJ got poleaxed by a blob fish in vegas

Fury dethroned Wilder, 20 plus defences

AJ ducked Wilder to face bang average Parker in a fight the ref protected him in

AJ only beats old men or a Ruiz who was enjoying his lifetime old El paso supply

Honestly even Fury's wins over a prime Chisora are probably better than AJ's best win of Wlad.

Wlad didn't fancy fighting prime Chisora, who gave a very good fight to Vitali, I think prime Del takes the shot 41 year old Wlad AJ fought.

Whatever people say about Wilder, he's got a bigger heart than Joshua, he never gives up.

He's a limited boxer, bit so is Joshua. I'd love to see them in the ring together.

As it stands, AJ v Fury is a 25/75 fight, AJ v Wilder is a proper 50/50 fight.

Facts. All of the Femi fanboys talking about title defences lmao. Did Wlad's 23 title defences save him?

Wilder > Chisora no question and it was on away territory. However, with fair judging Chisora would have beaten Whyte and Helenius, so his record isn't as bad as it looks at first glance.

Yes. And the Olympic gold was a hometown gift. Femi should have crashed out in the first round.

Parker has the chin, movement and boxing skills to beat Wilder but Wilder would ice the others. Two of them are old men anyway.

The bookies still had Femi as the favourite in the Ruiz rematch and his path to victory was obvious. He has never been an underdog in any of his fights.
